• This article has been nominated for a featured article twice, but has a lot of missing things preventing that. Especially the lack of citations. If we get lots of people working on it we can get it up to featured status, like the Russian version. See the talk page for suggestions for improvement.

• Oh, come on. This is one of my favorite TV series, and I strongly oppose spending a whole on it at AID. There are too many other important works to improve; this thing is already close to FA-quality, whereas science fiction failed to even get GAd. Not to mention that the article for future itself is barely more than a stub! This article already gets more attention than a topic of its importance merits; an AID would just worsen our systemic bias, whereas we should be directing it to improve our coverage of the areas of Wikipedia that are truly lacking. -Silence 17:59, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

  • Sometimes it's just as bad for an article to get too much of the wrong kind of attention than no attention at all. Futurama has been filled with fancruft, original research, speculation, and loads of non notable information. The article needs a complete rewrite, as has been discussed on the talk page.     • But so does Paradise Lost. In fact, I'd say Paradise Lost is in even worse shape than Futurama, by an order of magnitude! • While this article is included as a Core Topic in Version 1.0, and has various subtopics as featured article, Astronomy deserves a better general article. In my opinion, it should be at the same level as Physics or Mathematics. A more spectific to do list to start with:

• Expansion of the History section, possibly a partial merge with Astrology and astronomy.

• More emphasis on the fact that astrology is not just the same as astronomy, but not a science at all.

• Astronomy = Astrology + Physics. Modern astronomy grew out of ancient astrology. The two fields diverged with the advent of the scientific method.

• Expansion of lists with short introductions to the topics.
• Cleanup of See also and External links.
• Much more references.

  • Not sure how much can be done. You could spin out the colonialism section into a separate article. I also considered the demographics section for a spin-out, but it's quite dense already.   This article just failed its FAC. Information wise, it is FA material. However, it is not referenced extensively enough to qualify for FA (and this is really the only thing keeping it from FA status). • Arguably the most important Russian painter, but very little information, both on his life and on his work. In fact, the gallery is longer than the text. Things to be added are his influence on painting in the Soviet era, his ideas behind the paintings, the building of his house in Kuokkala, relationship with his friends (Tolstoy for example), his marriage and children (at least a daughter).

• This article concerns one of the most notable video games ever. It has over 400 inbound links and a PageRank of 6. Although it is thorough, it needs major cleanup. It is currently rated B-class on this assessment scale and has 11 substantial issues that need to be fixed before it becomes a good article. However, I believe that the AID could provide the editorial attention needed to bring it to featured article status, or at least A-class. (It currently receives few legitimate edits.) • The article on Astrid Lindgren's most famous creation of all time is in terrible need of improvement. Even the long list of translations that comprises 2/3 of the entire page needs to move to Wiktionary.

Even more disappointingly, there are no Wikipedia pages on any of the film adaptations (with the exception of The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking) or the individual books, and nothing on the '60s Swedish show or the '90s Nelvana series.

• This article has been nominated for a featured article twice, but has a lot of missing things preventing that. Especially the lack of citations. If we get lots of people working on it we can get it up to featured status, like the Russian version. See the talk page for suggestions for improvement.

Futurama has been filled with fancruft, original research, speculation, and loads of non notable information. The article needs a complete rewrite, as has been discussed on the talk page. • While this article is included as a Core Topic in Version 1.0, and has various subtopics as featured article, Astronomy deserves a better general article. In my opinion, it should be at the same level as Physics or Mathematics. A more spectific to do list to start with:

• Expansion of the History section, possibly a partial merge with Astrology and astronomy.

• More emphasis on the fact that astrology is not just the same as astronomy, but not a science at all.

• Astronomy = Astrology + Physics. Modern astronomy grew out of ancient astrology. The two fields diverged with the advent of the scientific method.

• Expansion of lists with short introductions to the topics.
• Cleanup of See also and External links.
• Much more references.

• The article on Astrid Lindgren's most famous creation of all time is in terrible need of improvement. Even the long list of translations that comprises 2/3 of the entire page needs to move to Wiktionary.

Even more disappointingly, there are no Wikipedia pages on any of the film adaptations (with the exception of The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking) or the individual books, and nothing on the '60s Swedish show or the '90s Nelvana series.

• While this article is included as a Core Topic in Version 1.0, and has various subtopics as featured article, Astronomy deserves a better general article. In my opinion, it should be at the same level as Physics or Mathematics. A more spectific to do list to start with:

• Expansion of the History section, possibly a partial merge with Astrology and astronomy.

• More emphasis on the fact that astrology is not just the same as astronomy, but not a science at all.

• Astronomy = Astrology + Physics. Modern astronomy grew out of ancient astrology. The two fields diverged with the advent of the scientific method.

• The article on Astrid Lindgren's most famous creation of all time is in terrible need of improvement. Even the long list of translations that comprises 2/3 of the entire page needs to move to Wiktionary.

Even more disappointingly, there are no Wikipedia pages on any of the film adaptations (with the exception of The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking) or the individual books, and nothing on the '60s Swedish show or the '90s Nelvana series.

Futurama has been filled with fancruft, original research, speculation, and loads of non notable information. The article needs a complete rewrite, as has been discussed on the talk page. • While this article is included as a Core Topic in Version 1.0, and has various subtopics as featured article, Astronomy deserves a better general article. In my opinion, it should be at the same level as Physics or Mathematics. A more spectific to do list to start with:

• Expansion of the History section, possibly a partial merge with Astrology and astronomy.

• More emphasis on the fact that astrology is not just the same as astronomy, but not a science at all.

• Astronomy = Astrology + Physics. Modern astronomy grew out of ancient astrology. The two fields diverged with the advent of the scientific method.

• Expansion of lists with short introductions to the topics.
• Cleanup of See also and External links.

• The article on Astrid Lindgren's most famous creation of all time is in terrible need of improvement. Even the long list of translations that comprises 2/3 of the entire page needs to move to Wiktionary.

Even more disappointingly, there are no Wikipedia pages on any of the film adaptations (with the exception of The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking) or the individual books, and nothing on the '60s Swedish show or the '90s Nelvana series.

  • Sometimes it's just as bad for an article to get too much of the wrong kind of attention than no attention at all. Futurama has been filled with fancruft, original research, speculation, and loads of non notable information. The article needs a complete rewrite, as has been discussed on the talk page. • While this article is included as a Core Topic in Version 1.0, and has various subtopics as featured article, Astronomy deserves a better general article. In my opinion, it should be at the same level as Physics or Mathematics. A more spectific to do list to start with:

• Expansion of the History section, possibly a partial merge with Astrology and astronomy.

• More emphasis on the fact that astrology is not just the same as astronomy, but not a science at all.

• Astronomy = Astrology + Physics. Modern astronomy grew out of ancient astrology. The two fields diverged with the advent of the scientific method.

• Expansion of lists with short introductions to the topics.
• Cleanup of See also and External links.
• Much more references.

• The article on Astrid Lindgren's most famous creation of all time is in terrible need of improvement. Even the long list of translations that comprises 2/3 of the entire page needs to move to Wiktionary.

Even more disappointingly, there are no Wikipedia pages on any of the film adaptations (with the exception of The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking) or the individual books, and nothing on the '60s Swedish show or the '90s Nelvana series.

• While this article is included as a Core Topic in Version 1.0, and has various subtopics as featured article, Astronomy deserves a better general article. In my opinion, it should be at the same level as Physics or Mathematics. A more spectific to do list to start with:

• Expansion of the History section, possibly a partial merge with Astrology and astronomy.

• More emphasis on the fact that astrology is not just the same as astronomy, but not a science at all.

• Astronomy = Astrology + Physics. Modern astronomy grew out of ancient astrology. The two fields diverged with the advent of the scientific method.

• Expansion of lists with short introductions to the topics.
• Cleanup of See also and External links.
• Much more references.

• The article on Astrid Lindgren's most famous creation of all time is in terrible need of improvement. Even the long list of translations that comprises 2/3 of the entire page needs to move to Wiktionary.

Even more disappointingly, there are no Wikipedia pages on any of the film adaptations (with the exception of The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking) or the individual books, and nothing on the '60s Swedish show or the '90s Nelvana series.

  • Sometimes it's just as bad for an article to get too much of the wrong kind of attention than no attention at all. Futurama has been filled with fancruft, original research, speculation, and loads of non notable information. The article needs a complete rewrite, as has been discussed on the talk page. • While this article is included as a Core Topic in Version 1.0, and has various subtopics as featured article, Astronomy deserves a better general article. In my opinion, it should be at the same level as Physics or Mathematics. A more spectific to do list to start with:

• Expansion of the History section, possibly a partial merge with Astrology and astronomy.

• More emphasis on the fact that astrology is not just the same as astronomy, but not a science at all.

• Astronomy = Astrology + Physics. Modern astronomy grew out of ancient astrology. The two fields diverged with the advent of the scientific method.

• Expansion of lists with short introductions to the topics.
• Cleanup of See also and External links.
• Much more references.

• The article on Astrid Lindgren's most famous creation of all time is in terrible need of improvement. Even the long list of translations that comprises 2/3 of the entire page needs to move to Wiktionary.

Even more disappointingly, there are no Wikipedia pages on any of the film adaptations (with the exception of The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking) or the individual books, and nothing on the '60s Swedish show or the '90s Nelvana series.

• This article has been nominated for a featured article twice, but has a lot of missing things preventing that. Especially the lack of citations. If we get lots of people working on it we can get it up to featured status, like the Russian version. See the talk page for suggestions for improvement.

  • Sometimes it's just as bad for an article to get too much of the wrong kind of attention than no attention at all. Futurama has been filled with fancruft, original research, speculation, and loads of non notable information. The article needs a complete rewrite, as has been discussed on the talk page. • While this article is included as a Core Topic in Version 1.0, and has various subtopics as featured article, Astronomy deserves a better general article. In my opinion, it should be at the same level as Physics or Mathematics. A more spectific to do list to start with:

• Expansion of the History section, possibly a partial merge with Astrology and astronomy.

• More emphasis on the fact that astrology is not just the same as astronomy, but not a science at all.

• Astronomy = Astrology + Physics. Modern astronomy grew out of ancient astrology. The two fields diverged with the advent of the scientific method.

• Expansion of lists with short introductions to the topics.
• Cleanup of See also and External links.
• Much more references.

• The article on Astrid Lindgren's most famous creation of all time is in terrible need of improvement. Even the long list of translations that comprises 2/3 of the entire page needs to move to Wiktionary.

Even more disappointingly, there are no Wikipedia pages on any of the film adaptations (with the exception of The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking) or the individual books, and nothing on the '60s Swedish show or the '90s Nelvana series.
