[[:Image:RPaul1.jpg|thumb|200px|right|Roy Paul was a wing-half who made 160 appearances in all competitions for Swansea from 1946–1950 and helped them win the Third Division South in 1948–1949.]]

Lee Trundle made over 162 appearances for the club, scoring 82 goals in the process. He became a fan favourite due to his flair and extrovert displays of skills.
Dave Penney played for the club from 1993–1997. He also had a spell on loan in 1991, where he helped Swansea win the Welsh Cup.

This is a list of notable players of Swansea City Association Football Club. The club was founded in 1912 as Swansea Town A.F.C, but changed their name to Swansea City A.F.C. when Swansea was granted city status in 1971. They were elected into the Football League eight years later in 1920.[1]

Wilfred Milne is the current record holder of appearance records in both league matches and all competitions having played for the club from 1920 to 1937. The current record holder for most goals scored in all competitions is held by Ivor Allchurch, scoring 166 goals. The player with the most appearances in all competitions who still plays for the club is Alan Tate, having made his debut in 2002.

List

The list includes all Swansea City players who have made 100 or more appearances in competitive matches since 1946 in any first class competition - Football League, FA Cup, League Cup, Football League Trophy and FAW Premier Cup as well as European matches in the European Cup Winners Cup. Substitute appearances are included but wartime fixtures are not.

Roberto Martínez made 122 appearances for the club between 2002-2006, and later went on to manage Swansea from 2007–2009.
Darren Pratley has made over 150 appearances for Swansea since 2006.
Steve Torpey played for the club from 1993–1997.
