Kingdom of Muqtasid is a website that was originally published on the 30th of June 2010[1]. The website is built on the Weebly website editor [2] Kingdom of Muqtasid's main purposes are to provide education and entertainment to the visitors of the website, all of this is provided free of charge on Kingdom of Muqtasid for the convenience and frequency of usage from the visitors. This is also held strong by the fact that there are no advertisements placed on Kingdom of Muqtasid (with the exception of the chat room because the chat service provider places ads on the widget, not Kingdom of Muqtasid and on the embedded YouTube videos[3]) so the site is almost completely safe for children to use because there is minimal risk of navigation error[4]. The only downside to keeping it free is that Kingdom of Muqtasid has no domain of its own, rather a sub-domain of Weebly but this is a minor detail compared to the benefits of keeping it free. Education is the main priority on Kingdom of Muqtasid, education is kept free and also is kept enjoyable. To do this Muqtasid Mansoor used reliable sources that had also posted on YouTube to embed videos such as the Periodic Videos which have posted over 118 video, one for each element on the periodic table[5]. Kingdom of Muqtasid also has a vast amount of accumulating entertainment especially important are the games that originate from Miniclip.com (these games were embedded on Kingdom of Muqtasid from Miniclip's webmaster page[6]. Other games have started to accumulate from Armor Games embedded with permission at: http://armorgames.com/free-website-games[7].
There are multiple resources listed on Kingdom of Muqtasid such as Nasa fact sheets and other calculators etc. The blog system is hosted by weebly.com and provides easy no-registration comments where the only items other than the comment that are required to fill out are: your email address which Kingdom of Muqtasid and Weebly never publish and the name you wish to display above your comment[8].
The heart
You may think that the most important page is the homepage but when it comes to Kingdom of Muqtasid it is actually Entertainment Central. Entertainment Central is the heart of Kingdom of Muqtasid because it contains the most internal links to education and entertainment[9]. It is organized in a two major column layout where on each side there are different link topics such as game and educational videos.
Social media
Kingdom of Muqtasid contains a large collection of social media, this includes media from Meebo, Facebook, AddThis and ShareThis which enables the ability to instantly share content and pages on Kingdom of Muqtasid[10]. Facebook is used on Kingdom of Muqtasid blog posts, this gives Facebook users the ability to comment and share the pages[11][12].
Simply explained
There is another project that is taking place on Kingdom of Muqtasid and it is named: Simply Explained. It is not intended to compete with Wikipedia, it is quoted in the official June/July 2011 newsletter. "During the moths of June and July Kingdom of Muqtasid has started to make information pages on which the purpose is to deliver knowledge straight to the point and with simplicity. Note, this is not a competition against Wikipedia because Kingdom of Muqtasid is not an encyclopedia. This project is called "Simply Explained"[13] "
Other evidence is that Kingdom of Muqtasid is not a wiki site so not everything on "Simply Explained" is editable but it has also been heard that the owner of Kingdom of Muqtasid has found an embedded wiki software to use on the project "Simply Explained" but also added to that is that the software is not intended for a full wiki project. Rather just for there own ease of access to editing.
