It is cited in the Constitution as an official language. Wikipedia should follow what the Constitution of the country states. Co-official in English means official. map legend errors

I don't know how to fix this, but there is something wrong with the map legend. For instance, it will say one region has "cold, dry summer. hot summer." Presumably, the first instance of the word "summer" was intended to be winter. This error persists throughout the legend, where the word "winter" never appears, though it clearly should. Great story about bringing (parts of) the Internet - and Wikipedia - to remote regions of Kyrgyzstan by donkey

I am not sure that there is really a place for this link in this article, but I just thought I would share a very cool article about bringing Wikipedia and other Internet resources being to schools in remote sections of Kyrgyzstan: https://restofworld.org/2021/delivering-the-internet-by-donkey/ The people behind this project are essentially bring a small computer (a Raspberry Pi) with a WiFi access point. It's solar-powered and allows schools to access whatever materials are loaded onto the computer. I think this is very cool to see Wikipedia being brought to more people in this way. Anyway, I just thought I would leave this here in case any editors thought it might be interesting to add something about this work to this article. I don't feel it is appropriate for me to add anything directly because while I have not had any involvement with this project or the Internet Society Kyrgyzstan Chapter, I am employed by the Internet Society and so feel I have WP:COI. - Dyork (talk) 20:34, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Official language

Hi please lock this article Russian is not an official language of Kyrgyzstan. It is a co official language which is not at state level. Russian is not used like that in Kazakhstan.

Page is being vandalised by this IP: 2A01:E0A:21C:3D20:7D86:8D89:E747:ACA8 95.0.32.95 (talk) 21:03, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't the correct venue to request protection - see WP:RFPP. Marking help request as closed (and moving it out of the heading field to avoid erroneous rendering - new heading, 'Official language'). Also pinging @2A01:E0A:21C:3D20:7D86:8D89:E747:ACA8: as a courtesy to respond to the above content dispute. Best, Darren-M talk 21:12, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
