Wallet (software) → Apple Wallet – WP:NPOV, consistency with the other app articles, and disambiguation, and in this case according to Wikipedia:ATDAB MOS, natural disambiguation is preferred WikIan -(talk) 02:19, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

Poll
- I support moving the content of Wallet (software) to Apple Wallet per Wikipedia:ATDAB, in particular, natural disambiguation in conjunction with Wikipedia:PRECISION. I do not believe Wallet (software) is sufficiently precise to remain as a redirect to the new title. I think it is ambiguous in relation to Google Wallet and Microsoft Wallet; both being software driven, electronic wallets. I, therefor, feel it should instead redirect to Wallet (disambiguation) after all back-links are re-targeted. I'd like this point decided by the consensus of a thoughtful discussion. Thank you.--John Cline (talk) 04:09, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- Seconding this request. ONR (talk) 15:55, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support. A year ago, a strong consensus was established that "Company + App name" is a valid form of natural disambiguation, even when the company names is not part of the app name. That said, I would have opposed the move had it not been for the fact that there are Google Wallet and Microsoft Wallet. —Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 11:10, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support as per John Cline. power~enwiki (π, ν) 18:35, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support, other 'wallets' may exist. MfortyoneA (talk) 22:48, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support – I've seen it and heard it as "Apple Wallet" for so long now, and I think the badge displayed on the article itself proves that it's marketed as "Apple Wallet" as well. WP:COMMONNAME would be a great argument in support of the move as well. – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · contribs · count) 05:28, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
- If move, what is to happen with the existing page Apple Wallet and its talk page? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:41, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Anthony Appleyard: They are just redirects so couldn't we just do a page swap, we were usurp the title and turn this into a redirect. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 10:09, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Emir of Wikipedia: Uhh, just overwrite them. Sorry. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 10:19, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support per WP:NATURALDAB and WP:COMMONNAME. GeoffreyT2000 (talk, contribs) 23:27, 27 September 2017 (UTC)

"Common Wallet Passes" should not be on this page
@Gsblo:
A) There is no publicly available usage data for Apple Wallet passes, thus distinguishing a select few of them as "common" either shows a bias or is an assumption that cannot be proven.
B) There are thousands of businesses that integrate with Apple Wallet. Either all of them must be listed or none of them. If you wish to track the former, it should go on a separate page. Tytygh55 (talk) 04:36, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
