Renaming of the Visa requirements for German citizens and Visa requirements for French citizens articles

Dear Lades2222,
I opened a move discussion here, because I think that new names for those articles may be appropriate as they now include non-visa travel requirements like vaccination requirements, passport requirements and entry bans as well as biometrics.
I am coming to you, as a respected editor of visa requirements articles, and I would like to have your opionin about it. Do you think this move is appropriate? And, if yes, how should to articles be renamed?

[Visa requirements map]

I looked at the wording in this section.

I know you put a lot of effort into these areas, but... the map guidance and links are lengthy.

"Map of jurisdictions by visa requirement for French citizens holding ordinary passports and traveling by air."

--> I think it's better to leave out "by air" here.

When including this phrase, we have to add "by land" or "by ship" etc.

If that happens, we might have to re-examine the whole "visa required" section. This is complicated.

It is better to think of visa requirements as a whole, leaving out "by air."

And eTA, esta, e-voa, ease... I don't think there is a need to list the many types one by one.

In fact... ease, esta, eTA, etc. are offshoots of ETA, and e-voa, etc. can actually be classified as e-visa.

Moreover, "tourist card required in advance" is... hmm...!

For everyone's readability, we need to organize only the essentials.

I agree with you that the title and legend are too long and complicated. However I think that it is necessary to include somewhere that, for example, the cuban tourist card (which must be obtained prior to arrival) is shown as "visa on arrival" and that some ETAs are shown as "visa not required" and other as "eVisa", standards that the non-specialist reader may not be aware of. Visa policy of Russia

Hello.

Please pay attention to the following information:

1. Georgia. Visa-free regime for all types of passports is under the presidential decree from 15 May 2023. (See "Agreements" - "Unilateral visa waiver") The visa policy map for diplomatic and service passports does not contain this information.

2. Monaco. Visa-free regime for diplomatic passports is under the presidential decree from 3 September 2017. It has not been canceled. (See "Agreements" - "Unilateral visa waiver") The visa policy map for diplomatic and service passports does not contain this information.

3. Hungary. The Russian government has suspended part of the agreement on visa-free travel. Holders of diplomatic passports need a visa from 1 March 2023. Visa-free regime is still applied for holders of service passports.

4. Croatia. The visa free regime for all types of passports was in force until 2013. (Under the agreement between USSR and Yugoslavia).

The current agreement was signed in 2010 and entered into force in 2013. Visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic and service passports.

Croatia joined the EU in 2013. The agreement on visa-free for holders of diplomatic passports between Russia and the EU began to apply to Croatian citizens in 2013. The visa-free regime for diplomatic passports was regulated by two agreements (Russia-EU and Russia-Croatia).

The current bilateral agreement was amended in 2019. The article on visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic and service passports has been replaced by an article on visa-free regime only for holders of service passports.

1. In the case of Monaco, Monaco has unilaterally granted exemption to Russians.

2. The districts and maps of Hungary and Bulgaria have already been modified. So let's not comment on these.

5. There is a (conditional) immunity agreement between North Macedonia and Russia, but North Macedonia stopped providing immunity to Russians after the Ukraine war.

According to the site, "For Russian citizens – within 180 days and without visa for up to 90 days – unilaterally." It written.

Kosovo is not included in the list of e-Visa ‘eligible countries’ on the site.

Check the “Visitors” tab at “https://evisa.ica.gov.pg/evisa/account/apply”.

(In particular, developed countries and Pacific countries are usually given 60 days.)

Countries not included in the target countries must apply for a visa in advance.

And the Botswana, DR Congo, etc. you mentioned.. I think that the fact that Kosovo is not included in these countries means that they do not receive visas, and we are planning to change it to "BLACK".

You certainly can create new articles, but I'm not sure that creating such a subpage of sorts would work. Wikipedia isn't meant to be an indiscriminate collection of information (see WP:INDISCRIMINATE) and it sounds like perhaps an appendix of sorts, as you describe, would be overly-detailed. Update some maps with color in visa requirements article

@Lades2222 Hi, I am from Albania and I have seen than you edit some articles about visa requirements and visa policy. I have seen that you last edited Visa requirements for Albanian citizens and I want to ask you can you update Russia in light green and Sudan in light yellow in Visa requirements for Albanian citizens map as Russia requires an eVisa for Albanian citizens while Sudan requires a travel permit which is mentioned in yellow in the visa requirements sections. Today, Sudan was mentioned as "travel permit required" in yellow in Visa requirements countries for Albanian citizens, but I don't know why it was again changed as "visa required".
