Your GA nomination of Marcus Klingberg
The article Marcus Klingberg you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. Question from ExoField (12:14, 18 April 2024)
Hi, I'm in need of some help. In University of Peshawar there was probably a purge to remove all the departments and colleges (because it was copy pasta from the official website) from the page and now the page is all messed up and completely wrong, someone has listed the departments with a secondary source, but it's completely wrong, what do I do? I want to discuss this in detail please. --ExoField (talk) 12:14, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
- By "what do I do" I mean, should I just remove the departments entirely (page will be completely empty) or should I add back some of the departments with a primary source? ExoField (talk) 12:15, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
- Also, I'm having difficulty finding secondary sources that mention the various departments/colleges/faculty of the university reliably, they're either completely unrelated, or just straight up wrong.
- I'll appreciate any guidance. ExoField (talk) 12:17, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @ExoField - I'm somewhat inactive this week, so replies are delayed. For the purposes of Wikipedia, have a look at the Harvard University article to get a sense of a structure for a university article. In terms of sourcing, it's ok to use a primary source where the information is "factual", but consider that a list of faculties in the article is not necessarily encyclopedic. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 05:13, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you. ExoField (talk) 07:30, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

Goldsztajn, I have archived the review page, since over two months had passed and you hadn't begun the review; it would have been unfair to the nominator to keep the review open any longer. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:00, 2 May 2024 (UTC)

RFA2024 update: phase I concluded, phase II begins
Hi there! Phase I of the Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/2024 review has concluded, with several impactful changes gaining community consensus and proceeding to various stages of implementation. Some proposals will be implemented in full outright; others will be discussed at phase II before being implemented; and still others will proceed on a trial basis before being brought to phase II. The following proposals have gained consensus:
- Proposals 2 and 9b (phase II discussion): Add a reminder of civility norms at RfA and Require links for claims of specific policy violations
- Proposal 3b (in trial): Make the first two days discussion-only
- Proposal 13 (in trial): Admin elections
- Proposal 14 (implemented): Suffrage requirements
- Proposals 16 and 16c (phase II discussion): Allow the community to initiate recall RfAs and Community recall process based on dewiki
- Proposal 17 (phase II discussion): Have named Admins/crats to monitor infractions
- Proposal 24 (phase II discussion): Provide better mentoring for becoming an admin and the RfA process
- Proposal 25 (implemented): Require nominees to be extended confirmed
See the project page for a full list of proposals and their outcomes. A huge thank-you to everyone who has participated so far :) looking forward to seeing lots of hard work become a reality in phase II. theleekycauldron (talk), via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 08:09, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

Women in Green GA Editathon June 2024 - Going Back in Time
Hello Goldsztajn:
WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Edit-a-thon event in June 2024!
Running from June 1 to 30, 2024, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon event with the theme Going Back in Time! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 20 centuries by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.
We hope to see you there!

Question from SarahHunnings24 (17:56, 30 May 2024)
Hello, I want to publish some edits but it is not letting me and saying no stashed content is found and wondered what this meant and how to get rid of it? --SarahHunnings24 (talk) 17:56, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @SarahHunnings24 - I'm not certain for sure, but it might be a problem with the browser window/tab you are using that has been left open for too long. Save the edits elsewhere (eg in a word doc), close all the windows, restart and try to do a sinlge small edit on the piece you are working on. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 02:27, 31 May 2024 (UTC)

Question from PeachRingSword (03:37, 9 June 2024)
Hi, when looking for things to cite, should I start by looking for places that are already marked as needing a citation, or should I look for places that aren't marked but also need a citation? --PeachRingSword (talk) 03:37, 9 June 2024 (UTC)

{{citation needed}}
(which appears on more than half a million pages!) will certainly help in improving Wikipedia. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 03:35, 10 June 2024 (UTC)

Question from SarahHunnings24 on Draft:Currensea (10:18, 17 June 2024)
Hello, if review or specific comments have been left on a draft, how can you access them? --SarahHunnings24 (talk) 10:18, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @SarahHunnings24 in this case, in the pink box at the top of the draft: specifically the draft has been refused because the sourcing is not considered reliable. A quick scan of the sourcing shows multiple references which are self-published or primary (eg Companies House), none of those sources establish notability. I've not looked closely at the other sources, but many appear to be sources which look to be repeating PR, rather than providing independent, in-depth analysis. Question from Thira(79-80) (19:20, 17 June 2024)
hello
i've drafted a new article in my sandbox but when i try to publish it i keep getting a notification saying "error..no stashed content found"
i'm not sure what that means and how to go about fixing it
any information on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated
thank you --Thira(79-80) (talk) 19:20, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Thira(79-80). I can see the draft - this kind of error could be the result of leaving the editing window/tab open for too long. Close your browser (not just the tabs) and reopen to the draft. Try saving a small, simple edit and see if the problem remains. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 00:09, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
