If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."

• To list a technical request: the Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:

  This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.
• If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
• If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.

• Serviceton railway line → Ararat railway line (currently a redirect instead to Ballarat V/Line rail service) (move · discuss) – Revamped the article as the line has not been known as the "Serviceton railway line" since 1995, when the line past Ararat was converted to standard gauge and reopened as part of the then-new Western standard gauge line.   If Mylėk is turned into a redirect to its creator Vilija Matačiūnaitė, perhaps the film should be moved to Mylek or MyLek. (I turned the former into a dab before realizing this.) Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 16:23, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

  And if it isn't, per WP:SMALLDIFFERENCES, the film should be at MyLek (or Mylek (film)). The only question is which capitalization of the title is the most used, as the film's official material appears to use a mixed-script title that obviously can't be our article title. • KFF Tirana AS (currently a redirect to Tirana AS) → Tirana AS (move · discuss) – I had requested this move a few weeks back but I can't seem to find the request any longer. The actual name of the football team is Tirana AS. KFF that's added to the name title is incorrect. I have in my possesion a book from author Florent Hoxha titled "Futbolli Femëror Shqiptar", the only published book of its kind covering the history of Albanian women's football. In page 41, the author gives a brief profile of the club's history. Tirana AS is known as such from 2007 until at least 2021. The club was eventually disbanded. There is speculation it merged into a new club, known as KFF Tirana. I have yet to find a source that confirms this. Throughout the club's 15 year history, they have always been known as Tirana AS. This is reflected in their logo as well. In the 2020–21 table standings, they are still referred to as Tirana AS. Kj1595 (talk) 01:55, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

  Last month at RMT, Ahecht pinged Fjorilda09 to ask about their addition of Tirana AS's statistics to the KFF Tirana page.   They posted it to my Talk page, in an existing topic, that was not anything to do with it, so I deleted it. See the revision history of my Talk page. They have tried to fix it themselves and there is now a lot of inappropriate redirects, and an incomplete page name (Gölçük toothcar, missing the P) Big Blue Cray(fish) Twins (talk) 23:36, 28 June 2024 (UTC)

  Looking into it, A. saldae appears to be a completely different species from A. splendens, and "Gölçük toothcarp" doesn't seem to be the WP:COMMONNAME of either species, so this will need quite a bit of untangling. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 00:45, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

• Charli XCX → Charli xcx (currently a redirect back to Charli XCX) (move · discuss) – Charli changed her stage name with the release of her 2024 album Brat. I've updated the article itself to reflect that change and citing a source demonstrating the change. The article title should be changed as well. Kapgene (talk) 14:25, 30 June 2024 (UTC)

Not so fast on whether that is an official name change. The text in the article only states that she changed the capitalization in some but not all of her social media accounts, and the only so-called confirmation given for that turn of events is this gossipy site: [1]. Meanwhile, all reliable media outlets reporting on her recent events, or reviewing her new album, are still spelling her name the old way. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 15:06, 30 June 2024 (UTC)

  From (Jochens 2012), a review of a compilation of multiple conference papers on the topic, the term appears to be used by some historians as a name for the historical entity, but not necessarily a consensus one. • New Brunswick Legislature → List of New Brunswick Legislative Assemblies (currently a redirect back to New Brunswick Legislature) (move · discuss) – Article pretty much covers Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, just with a list of sessions. This page should be renamed to "List of New Brunswick Legislative Assemblies" (which redirects to this article) and "New Brunswick Legislature" should serve as a redirect to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick article.   Overlap isn't that obvious, the New Brunswick Legislature article mentions Today, the legislature is made of two elements: the lieutenant governor (representing the King of Canada) and the unicameral assembly called the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick. The article also discusses the earlier history of the legislature, where the Legislative Assembly was only one half of a bicameral legislature, and the earlier items on the list include both houses.   I'd support on principle, but this should probably be further discussed, as it would also mean changing all lists such as List of United States commemorative coins and medals (2020s), as well as templates like {{US commemorative coinage (2020s)}}.
