Hi Moondyne, why did you revert the Eddie Maguire edit I did? Ithought Wikipedia was about publishing factual, unbiased articles, unaffected by subjective publicity material which the subject himself/herself puts forward?

What a pleasant suprise! well done - its taken the weight off what I was forever planning to get from the further reading items in personal possession. Thanks for that! SatuSuro 15:04, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you possibly do Robert Carl Sticht - I'll owe you if you can (nudge nudge) - Im sure hes on adb as well SatuSuro 15:20, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Typical, you turn your back and look whats happened - not tagged - and heaps of further reading from satusuro to add at the bottom ,sigh SatuSuro 15:25, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Bon Scott

The article Bon Scott you nominated as a good article has failed , see Talk:Bon Scott for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of said article. If you oppose this decision, you may ask for a review. Nominated by User:Carabinieri [1]. For some reason, I am a bit embarrassed by this one. It just seems too local. —Moondyne 06:19, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, um i want to get working on this article. Can you give me some sort of guide to work on. Sections (naming all sections you think need covering)? or maybe another similar article? or is this just a lengthening exercise? Many thanks, Twenty Years 13:31, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've given my opinion both of the edit summary and this question on 20yrs talk page Gnangarra 13:47, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please

Could you look at the lit project and see if there is any admin type cleanup of the project that you can do - i had got to a bit of a hiatus with cj about the creation of the assessment pages - I wasnt sure if it was something I could do or not. Thanks if you can dont worry if you cannot cheers SatuSuro 04:55, 11 May 2007 (UTC) BTW - excellent start to the Boans arrt! SatuSuro 04:56, 11 May 2007 (UTC) Thanks for letting me know - avagoodweekend SatuSuro 08:05, 11 May 2007 (UTC) + e Orderinchaos 08:11, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit conflict

Wow. Three editors at once, taking in the river views. I didn't try to merge it, but I kept my 'raw' edit if you want it. I should have put up a 'ed at work' sign. ☻ Fred|discussion|contributions 08:34, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I had one at my user space once! At the draft for Bessie Ris ... er, forget I spoke. FNORD! ☻ Fred|discussion|contributions 08:46, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Rats, I should have known fnord would not work with an illuminatus. I stubbed the Moseley Royal Commission and have four other related drafts and a couple of dozen redlinks. I will push it out and read the Davison apologist tome later. I got a wee bit involved, she is never far from my thoughts - just my edits. ☻ Fred|discussion|contributions 09:04, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FPC/GA

Hello, I have decided that you and other users were right about considering waiting for a few weeks (even months) before beginning to get involved with GA and featured picture candidate closing, I took your advice the wrong way, I'm sory for any trouble or negative feelings caused by this, happy editing! The Sunshine Man 11:28, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, that really means a lot to me, I blanked my user and user talk page because I was a little annyoyed but I shouldn't really, I intend to stick around here, thanks again! The Sunshine Man 15:43, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

heya - thought you might be able to help me. i found an image of Xavier Herbert taken in 1938 at Picture Australia. their copyright information specifically states that photos taken before '55 are out of copyright, but the image itself is listed as "Reproduction rights owned by the State Library of New South Wales". i'm sure that i could use any number of photos under fair use, but as I prefer to find a public domain one if possible, what does "reproduction rights" actually mean in terms of Wikipedia if the copyright has expired? hope you can help. thanks baby_ifritah 13:07, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just to Inform you

You and the number of articles you have successfully submitted to DYK has been noted here because you have been discovered as one of the twenty-five highest DYK article contributors. If you feel compelled to continue to update your number of DYKs on this list, and therefore the list itself, then it would be very helpful and help make sure that the list is as up-to-date as possible. If you, indeed, do not wish to be present on this list, then please notify me, the creator. Regards, —AD Torque 11:37, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're right

I should have said, but I just needed a fresh start, I know we had minor crossowrds a few weeks ago and for that I am sorry, I didnt' feel ready to say just yet, I hope your estmations of me have not went down through all of this.... . Kindest regards - The Sunshine Man 13:11, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was just I didnt want to say just yet as my current account is only about 10 days old so I didnt want to say just yet. Thanks for being so friendly about it. Regards - The Sunshine Man 13:26, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There, I've added all the necessary information in bold at the top, would you say that is OK, I've also told the users hi wished me goodbye as Tellyaddict and left a notice on my userpage and user talk page, i'm still going to edit under this account but the people should know. The Sunshine Man 13:33, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks a lot. Kindest regards - The Sunshine Man 13:42, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

nah - youre not actually at 50 yet, nah youre humble and dont bother about that stuff any more, nah SatuSuro 14:29, 13 May 2007 (UTC) User:Anonymous Dissident/List of Wikipedians by number of DYKs I had noticed and was going to include it in the sentence above - but am trying to look three directions at once with some other things on my watch in relation to the lit project - the new acotf - and some issues from having been to the dockers game this arvo (!) - - probably will have to get off before I get a chance to sort out all three threads. If you get to within the top 5 before the end of the year (ie 2007 calendar year), I'll nominate a meetup venue and first shout appropriate for the occasion! (I have some devilish ideas for that) cheers SatuSuro 14:39, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A challenge

Category:WikiProject Australian literature - there is something remiss in there - can you spot my errors and point me to the right way and the errors of my tagging? I am sure a project should not have the blend of things as they are at that location. I'd appreciate any clues as to where I went wrong, ta SatuSuro 15:48, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I keep thinking in the main lot that where I see 'Cat talk ' in the general section - that they should be sub cats and that I have done something wrong somehwere - or is it in the bowels of the coding that I havent worked on? SatuSuro 01:48, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to bother about it - take your time - I'm about to be off probably rtill either v late tonight or tommorow anyways SatuSuro 01:58, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Moondye, thank you for your kind words in support of my RfA. Please feel free to drop me a note any time if there is anything that I might be able to do for you. Pastordavid 16:03, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And agree with your prognosis of the worst article - it does need a re-write! SatuSuro 14:38, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Moondyne. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Guildford grammar.gif) was found at the following location: User:Moondyne/temp2. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Help needed with SEO article

I've nominated search engine optimization for featured article status, and you've helped edit this article. Could you possibly look at the references on the article and then leave your comments at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Search engine optimization as to whether you think the blogs and forums cited as references qualify as reliable sources. In order to achieve featured article status we need community consensus that the references are reliable. If you know any other Wikipedians who have expertise in this area, we welcome their comments. Thank you! Jehochman / 19:20, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was about to alert and you did it - good on you SatuSuro 09:21, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for that. Actually that was Jazzper not Bradles (unless they're the same person!). Just coincidence I got trolled by both on the same day. ;-) Hesperian 11:45, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I had three troll socks on my talk page at the same time. A sock of Gherkin30 was going hammer and tongs at a sock of Bradles, when all of a sudden a sock of Jazzper decided to drop in and say hello. That's gotta be some kind of record. Hesperian 12:49, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds about right. :-) The gherkin has now promised "your user page is getting destroyed", like I give a f**k. The only problem with all of this is I've been trying to update Banksieaephyllum for the past hour, and I keep getting interrupted. Hesperian 13:13, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I just obliterated the lot of them. Hesperian 13:20, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
... at least I think I did; they haven't all come up in my block log. Hesperian 13:22, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New art

would appreciate if you could give a once over of the new western mail art I started, ta SatuSuro 13:52, 19 May 2007 (UTC) went for dyk (I'll never catchup) but the 1980 version has lots of politics ive forgotten SatuSuro 06:26, 20 May 2007 (UTC) cripes roberts article has more red links than I have had beers in this calendar year! (wiki meetups only of course :) ) SatuSuro 12:09, 20 May 2007 (UTC) Be curious what you think of the next new art, sigh SatuSuro 13:24, 20 May 2007 (UTC) I am wondering about the creation of a sub-category to house xxxx in Australia articles- to keep em out of the main history categories. what do you think? SatuSuro 02:45, 21 May 2007 (UTC) Hey thanks for that - ignoramus shown up again :) - I think I was tagging the wrong cats to the year arts - oh well - I'll need to go back and clean em up. Sorry to have bothered. SatuSuro 03:24, 21 May 2007 (UTC) I would be v interested your reaction to the sesqui books (the clever reviwer will realise there is one book missing from the list :) SatuSuro 04:02, 21 May 2007 (UTC) Campbell Sharmans politics volume - somehow It does not show up on the henrietta list as being part of the 14 - odd - forgot to go back and checkout why or why not SatuSuro 04:41, 21 May 2007 (UTC) And I have personal suspicion about most of the staff individually (hmphs for a range of reasons) better you than me - good idea! go for it - there are links to a whole world of books that have come and gone that could keep my brain racked for weeks :) SatuSuro 04:52, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
