* I have now restored all the matter deleted from Wikipedia:Requested moves in the edit pointed to above. These deletions were certainly not my intention: I can only conclude that the cause was a software editing glitch, perhaps caused by me and someone else (who perhaps was moving items about in the course of "housekeeping") trying to edit Wikipedia:Requested moves at the same time. When an editing clash happens (i.e. two or more people trying to edit the same text at the same time), the resulting process may lead to one editor's actions being attributed to another editor. Jetpack (computer game)

A "prod" template has been added to the article Jetpack (computer game), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Dab formatting

As I'm going through your recent edits, I see you have been formatting disambiguation page entries with a colon:

Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages) shows the use of a comma instead, and this is how I have always seen it done:

Sorry to berate you with style issues, but it seems to me it takes far less work to do things right (in this case right meaning internally consistent) the first time, so I'm letting you know for future reference. — Swpb talk contribs 16:21, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Dude, whats your problem?

I'm working here! What is your problem?

~wroehl —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wroehl (talkcontribs) 20:19, July 2, 2007 (UTC) 20:21, 2 July 2007 User:Flyguy649

 • Sorry, Anthony, the above comment wasn't from me. I have your talk and user pages watchlisted (I don't recall why) and I encountered Wroehl blanking your talk and user pages. I reverted, and then he left the above message with a personal attack in it. I removed the personal attack, and forgot to add the for his comment. He's apparently irked about something that got deleted. I have no idea what, since his talk page didn't have anything on it from you. (It was Alex Roehl, which you deleted, although it was evidently tagged by someone else). I had a discussion with him about NPA, notability and civility. You can see our interactions both on my talk page and his. Please contact me if you have any more questions. Cheers! Flyguy649talkcontribs 01:38, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

I believe this page can be CSD'd as blatent spam. It has 94 Google hits and is non-notable in general. GizzaDiscuss © 22:23, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Move cleanup

Thanks for helping me clean up my mess. The redirects that need to be cleaned up are: Template:WikiProject Marching band/Userboxes/project member, Template:Wikipedia:WikiProject Marching band/Userboxes/project member, and User WikiProject Marching band. -- Upholder 22:51, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

That large section you moved to Hindu influence on the Guru Granth Sahib appears to be a copyvio of this page. I took a quick look at the version of Guru Granth Sahib prior to the date of the topix.net post and did not see the material, so I am thinking it was added later. I have tagged Hindu influence on the Guru Granth Sahib as a copyvio. If you disagree, please feel free to revert my tag or recreate the article. Thanks! -- But|seriously|folks  18:11, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Anthony Appleyard, thank you for two moves, Spacewar! and Ceresota Building. -Susanlesch 10:45, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Magnecule

However, both the references on the page are Santilli's own work. No reliable secondary sources at all. Also "magnecule" only gets 113 unique Ghits [1] many of which are irrelevant. Since it's referenced and explained in Santilli's article, isn't this article somewhat redundant? EliminatorJR Talk 11:25, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

I edited the information so it is now a stub and verifiable. Could you remove the speedy delete marker on this? There are no Google hits, (which is what I think no ghits means), but this is new information on the web, as most of the information was derived from Marathi sources, with references to very old English publications. Dab pages

A few more style issues with dab pages (you should really read over WP:MOSDAB): strive to include only one navigable link per entry, do not include external links on dab pages, do not include periods at the end of entries, and group "see also" entries into a separate section at the end. Also, entries should not usually contain the word "is", as in "Entry is a blah", but rather a comma, as each entry can be thought of as completing the sentence "Term can refer to ... entry, a blah". If you have a problem with these style precedents, bring it up on the talk page. Again, just trying to save some work by getting things right the first time. — Swpb talk contribs 21:23, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Removal of Promisance

I don't believe deleting the article on promisance was necessary, as i found it useful, and would otherwise have been unable to find resources on promisance. i would like to request it either be undeleted, or that you could post the links contained withing that page on my userpage so i could find the resources regarding promisance again Rainfall10110 07:49, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Ftr

A poll is currently being conducted at Talk:Ftr#Requested move to decide whether to move the article to FTR (bus). Your input would be appreciated. --Jorvik 10:21, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

James Warner's page

About my article I wrote

I recently wrote an article about a website called fanpop.com, I then got an email from one of the staff at fanpop.com saying this: -

"Thanks for posting this. I did see it when it was up and it looked pretty good"

I then checked Wikipedia and the article had been deleted

I rather obviously have permission for creating that article and I did not write any incorrect information so I do not see any reason why it was deleted; could you please tell me why. 15:24, 8 July 2007 User:James Warner

Must have been called fanpop (without the .com bit)

21:48, 5 July 2007 Anthony Appleyard (Talk|contribs) deleted "Fanpop" (content was:' db-web Fanpop (http://www.fanpop.com/) is a website made by Dave Lu, Dave (aka Papa), Cliff and Michael. It is network of user-generated fansite...')"

A Simple Heart Redirection

I found the "A Simple Heart" redirection to be useful. I read a lot of the Wikipedia guidelines and it said if someone thinks a redirection is useful then it probably is, even though it may not be to you, and if it is useful to someone then it is not a candidate for deletion, certainly not speedy deletion. Ultimate Chicken Grill

Hello, I saw that this page (Ultimate Chicken Grill) I created was deleted. I would like to know why this is. All information on the page was properly sourced, and accurate. There was no disputable content. Everything is verifiable against the Wendy's website. If this is because it is about a product, there was nothing that was not NPOV, and there are many articles on food products.

Please see Category: Wendy's foods Which is a cateogry that I am working to broaden on Wikipedia. There are many articles on foods from McDonald's, Burger King etc.

Thanks in advance for your response! --Nenyedi TalkDeeds@ 23:41, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

To point to a category, write it as e.g. :Category:Wendy's foods with an extra colon at the start, not with nowiki codes.

Space Patrol

Hi. Sorry about that, I thought you hadn't seen the dablink at the top of the page. It appears there needs to be another dablink up there, and I'm not sure we need to disambiguate both shows called Space Patrol. Is one the primary topic? -GTBacchus(talk) 20:20, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Alan West histmerge not complete?

Hi Anthony. I still don't see the history of the old Alan West article from before 9 July. It's not in either the old or the new article. I assume it would normally get moved (or copied) to be under the new one? Thanks, EdJohnston 22:49, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

R.S. Promotion

Would you please restore the article about RS Public Company Limited? Like GMM Grammy and Sahamongkol Film International, it is one of the larger entertainment companies in Thailand. It isn't spam. It was a good faith effort by an unbiased editor to expand English Wikipedia's coverage about Thailand and businesses in Thailand. Thank you! — WiseKwai 02:55, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

I just want to add that the article R.S. Promotion had a lot of links, which are now disrupted because of this deletion. — WiseKwai 05:17, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for restoring RS Public Company Limited. I can see why it was deleted and why it fell off my radar during my wikibreak. It was improperly moved from R.S. Promotion after a lot of problematic changes were made by another editor. The current name is more correct. What I hope to accomplish is to revert the contents to an earlier, less-spammy version of R.S. Promotion, but under the new name. Some admin magic will need to be worked to properly merge the article histories. Thanks for your help. — WiseKwai 07:50, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks again! That's got it. — WiseKwai 08:22, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Requested Moves - Layla

 • Two associated moves relating to "Layla" were placed on the requested move page on 9 July and immediately moved into the incomplete section for lacking a discussion area on a talk page. You have now carried out those moves without there ever being any discussion. Surely that isn't how the RM page should work ? -- Beardo 03:58, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
 • I have put the requested move entry back, with a "Discuss" link. Anthony Appleyard 04:43, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
