  • Talk:Morrill Tariff - Revert warring. The dispute is over an addition by an editor who supports a theory about the authorship of of an unsigned article in Charles Dickens' magazine. The proponent seeks to highlight his favored theory about the article's authorship in the main text of the article while excluding alternate theories. Alternative says the theory is too obscure and distracting for the main text, favors a footnote that presents differing theories about the authorship.~~

  • Talk: Tirat Carmel - I have edited an article on the Israeli town of Tirat Carmel. I added notice to the fact that the modern town was developed on the site of a Palestinian Arab village whose population fled during Israel's War of Independence. I also removed reference to the nearby industrial park of MATAM since it is not within the municipal boundaries of Tirat Carmel but of neighouring Haifa. These changes and a few others apparently violated the sensitivities of the original editor. He reverted the article back to it's original form. Furthermore, he has not answered my call, both on the article talk page and on his personal talk page, that we discuss the issue. I would like to add that in general, the wording he uses in the article paints quite a fantastical picture of Tirat Carmel. Anyone who is not personally acquainted with the town might be impressed that it is a vibrant and important city when in fact it is a dilapidated former development town whose population is on a low socio-economic level. 03:20, 3 September 2005 (UTC)

  • Talk:Chinese tickle torture While the article itself is not under attack, there is a user who is posting some pretty serious accusations on the talk page that those who contribute to this article are promoting racism against Chinese people. The user in qeustion topped it off by stating that those who wrote the article must be into BDSM which is a borderline personal attack. Neutral opinions are needed. -Husnock 21:35, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
  • Sissy_baby An editor insists on taking editing of article into his own hands. This is an ongoing dispute about the article. Key points are a list of items used and results from a poll the editor insisted on us quoting. The source of the poll is the only one who has made such a poll and the new editor insists that the source is bias even though they've reported their exact results. The new editor has forgotten to list exact arguments to massive deletions in the article before taking actions and when he/she does, leaves little time for any kind of reply. I would like to have a comment as to how the article looks at the time of my posting this and a few comments about the poll being overly bias or not. Thank you. --OrbitOne 08:53, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
