I am, however, concerned that WP:BLP does not adequately address this kind of issue. I've spent far too much of my professional life dealing with (US) parentage issues involving well-meaning but (perhaps unknowingly) destructive parents and other "adults" who can't restrain themselves from engaging in the type of snarking showing up here to have any remaining patience with this particularly insidious form of child abuse. The subject LP of the BLP might be fair game within the careful restrictions imposed by WP, but how on earth would anyone legitimately argue that a kid's relationships with family are worth damaging in this context, or in any other presented to the authors of an encyclopedia article? Neither money, nor the purported but private "truth" or "principle of the matter" justifies the content still archived here. This stuff has no place in WP, whether in the article, the talk pages, or the "deleted" talk page edit history. Hear, hear, Spartaz; the action is correct, and reason and decency are prevailing. I only wish that the talk archive could be junked as well, and as noted, BLP does not go far enough in situations like this. Keep going.
