::Before we get into an edit war over this, I'll throw the question at iTemplate talk:Infobox Television. I see arguments both ways. The show was first aired in 2005, but the line for the infobox actually reads "first run", so that kind of points to 2007. Torc2 (talk) 05:39, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Just out of curiosity, is DJ Jesus supposed to look like John Peel? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.250.133.71 (talk) 04:46, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Character summaries

I would like to trim these down to the essentials, meaning get rid of information that arises from a single episode. For example, Jesus' description includes: "He's also an escape artist and, ironically, also claustrophobic, though he claims that all escape artists are claustrophobic, which makes them want even more to escape from whatever they're trapped in." That's really only relevant for one episode, and isn't a central themes for the character. If his claustrophobia was plot point in every other episode, it would be worth mentioning here. The entries for Becky and Judas are excellent examples of what this section should be, I think. Any comments, or should I just take a swipe at this? Torc2 (talk) 22:04, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They were shorter, people keep re-adding trivial things like the Senator turned into a monster and the DJ is claustrophobic.«»bd(talk stalk) 04:09, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
True, but it's no big deal if we just have to keep fixing it. I'm more interested whether you agree with that approach? Torc2 (talk) 06:06, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If people keep putting it in, that means that is what the general audience wants. Intellectual snobbery is a waste of energy. Given that the show is only 10 11-minute episodes, something that happens in 1 episode happens 10% of the time. That's pretty damn significant for a character if you ask me.ClintJCL (talk) 16:05, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It is not "intellectual snobbery" to want a well-written article. Other forms of spam are not tolerated, and adding trivia inappropriately to the character descriptions should not be either. - Marvin01 | talk 20:39, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First aired

Which is correct, the 2005 date or the 2007 date? I would argue the 2005 date. Even though the full series began airing in 2007, the article is about the cartoon as a whole. The first time the show was aired on TV was 2005. Torc2 (talk) 19:12, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
