== gameplay system changes ==

the article says that the only noticeable change in the system has been Crisis core. Thats untrue. Dirge of Cerberus had a shooter system and Tactics had a turn based strategy system.
Someone should make a mini section for the games that have had the battle system changed and pull the crisis core line.

Limit Break - FFVI

Just wanted to explain my edit. When FFVI was released in the US in 1994 as FFIII, a lot of dialogue text had been omitted due to SNES cartridge memory constraints. The English version of the game didn't contain an explanation of the special moves that sometimes occurred when a character had low HP. Fans of the game coined the term "Desperation Move". However, in the Japanese version of the game, one of the instructor NPCs in the tutorial room early in the game explained the moves and referred to them as "hissatsuwaza", which is often translated as "deathblow". (hissu = certain, satsu = kill, waza = skill) Druff (talk) 23:32, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The image File:Final Fantasy V - Job System.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This article should be reincorporated into Final Fantasy article

It's rather odd to have an encyclopedia entry titled "Gameplay of Final Fantasy". It's really a sub-topic and not appropriate as a standalone. It should be reincorporated back in the Final Fantasy article itself. There's more to consider than sizes of articles. Yetheu (talk) 02:31, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

gameplay system changes
