He is one of the most sought after Indian male models. He is a qualified chef and a lifestyle columnist with The Hindustan Times. He has been actively involved with theatre and has done a few street plays at the Prithvi theatre in Mumbai. It was during one of these plays that he was offered a role in the TV serial Campus. He has acted in a number of Bollywood movies, making his debut,opposite Manisha koirala,in the movie"MARKET".The movie did reasonably well,and fetched good reviews for Aryan.
He was a housemate on Bigg Boss, the Indian version of Celebrity Big Brother, produced by Endemol India for Sony Entertainment Television.
Personal life
Relationship with Anupama Verma
On the show Bigg Boss, model Anupama Verma and Aryan had developed a relationship. Aryan was supposedly madly in love with Anupama and was very emotional when they parted when he got evicted from the show before Anupama. In an interview, he said;
“In all these years in the entertainment business I’ve moved around with a lot of women. I’ve been involved with other women and had relationships. But nothing compares to what I feel for Anupama. In fact, I fell in love with Anupama ten years ago and wanted to marry her. But our relationship didn’t go the way I wanted it to. Now, after so many years back in that house with her, I re-discovered what a beautiful person she is. I fell in love with her all over again. Anupama is one of those rare people who have a beautiful soul.”[1]
In the final episode of the show, it was discovered that the beautiful relationship that started on the show could not last in the real world. An emotional Anupama said that Aryan was not the same person outside and she could not relate to him anymore.
