Ceallach Spellman

Would you please stop telling me i put wrong information because if he confirms it on his twitter i know that its true. Also i think i know my own inspiration.

Information must be sourced. --Biker Biker (talk) 18:02, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

what when it is actually on tv that would be kinda stupid for fans. they want to know as soon as possible and he confirmed it.

Provide a reliable third party source. What don't you understand about that? --Biker Biker (talk) 18:07, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

can i put his twitter as thats the only website he uses to confirm anything? third partys can sometimes be false. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TWSophieMusicFD (talkcontribs) 18:08, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

His twitter is not a third party reference. If that is the only source then you need to leave it out of the article. --Biker Biker (talk) 18:10, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

okay but under the website bit can i put his twitter as he only uses that. (TWSophieMusicFD (talk) 18:29, 6 September 2011 (UTC)) 19.30, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WP:ELNO and WP:ELOFFICIAL sort of clash with each other, but I would say in this case it was justified if that is genuinely his only presence on the web. --Biker Biker (talk) 20:42, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

--Smcf1970 (talk) 21:53, 6 September 2011 (UTC)Hi Biker Biker,[reply]

I just wanted to find out what objection you had to my updates to the JLR entry that I edited. I can confirm I do work at JLR, although I am not in any great position of responsibility. When I looked at the original entry for Jaguar Land Rover, I thought I would simply update it with details of the sites that the company operates from (including some of the former roles of each of those plants) and clarifying what vehicles were built at each plant. As far as that goes, I can't really see any conflict of interest - I was merely trying to give the reader some more facts about the company. I also tried to link to other Wiki pages to do with the various different plants. I don't think I was trying to actively promote anything.

OK so in reference to resurrecting the Rover brand I may have over-egged the pudding, and I accept that. The company does indeed own that brand, and I tried to briefly state how that came to be and why. I can understand your potential deletion of the speculation about reviving the Rover brand - something that is only speculation on enthusiast websites such as www.aronline.co.uk and www.mg-rover.org, and I wouldn't have minded you removing that part. However the stuff I refer to in the paragraph above I find hard to see a solid reason for blocking.

Obviously as editor, your decision is final and I won't lose much sleep over it, but I am intrigued as to your reasons!

Cheers for now, Steve

so i can put it as thats the only source he updates on what hes doing. im gonna put it okay please dont undo it. TWSophieMusicFD (talk) 15:47, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bikers & Meth

Fortune article is from 1992, very out of date. Don't know situation in GB, but this link is fr/ 2005, 6 yrs ago. Cartels dominate here, though the situation is probably fluid, as it is in most criminal enterprises. Tapered (talk) 18:38, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requests for permissions

Hi. Could you explain this edit? My understanding is that such requests are allowed or denied by administrators, or am I missing something here? --Demiurge1000 (talk) 12:15, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I misread his posting, my mistake. --Biker Biker (talk) 12:17, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see you've blanked your warning to the editor concerned. It caused some confusion for them, though, so do please be careful with edits like this. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 12:21, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

I just wanted to say thanks for flipping the kilogram and pound weights on the Range Rover Evoque article. I wanted to show it that way but didn't know how. I appreciate your correcting that and now I know how to do that in the future. 72Dino (talk) 19:53, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I learned the same trick about a week ago! --Biker Biker (talk) 21:56, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
