On a wording of a sentence about Friedrich's marriage and children
Line 21: Line 21:

The webmaster of friedrichs.us posted a message that he might be able to release the previous copyvio'd material under an appropriate license. I responded that he probably wants to read WP:IOWN, WP:DCP, and by extension GFDL, to see how he can release his father's friend's work under the GFDL and let wikimedia foundation know about it. I am not a native English speaker, but wouldn't "their happy marriage produced 5 children" sound a bit strange? Temur (talk) 15:48, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

Someone inserted material into this article labelled with "This Biographical Memoir is from the NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES and was written by Cathleen Synge Morawetz".

such material can't be copied into Wikipedia unless it can be documented as public domain, or otherwise available under a GFDL-compatible license.

However, it would be good to have the source of that information listed as a source or an external link in the article, so that people can verify facts stated in the article from this external source. --Alvestrand 16:26, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
