File permission problem with File:Jazz Artist.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Jazz Artist.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 10:11, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:He was a co-founder of the Nationalist Congress Party.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Vu TelePresence has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no indication of meeting the notability guidelines at WP:ORG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 10:51, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Vu TelePresence for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Vu TelePresence is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vu TelePresence until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. noq (talk) 07:12, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

August 2012

Hello, Shravanshetty502. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Vu TelePresence, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. noq (talk) 07:57, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Cyberhawk 5 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 13:17, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello its my Friends Account i am not using Multiple Accounts Shravanshetty502 (talk) 05:51, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Berean_Hunter i am not using Multiple Accounts. This is not right you cannot block me.

Shravanshetty502 (talk) 06:25, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

how can you Block my account if you want i can give you my verification if You want. i am from India i can give you my Pancard if You want. this is my id and i am using this. This is frustrating. Me and my frd where working together because we are new in wikipedia. Cyberhawk 5 is my Friend. we only work together. This is Not possible. Give me my ID back.

If you wish to appeal this block, place {{unblock}} on this page.Remember to replace "your reason here" with why you think you should be unblocked. It is recommended to read the guide to requesting unblocks first.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I an not using Multiple Accounts. Me and my friend Cyberhawk 5 are working together because we are new in wikipedia. So when i was busy he use to edit from his account.if you want proof i can give you my pancard details. Please reply fast as my work is pending Shravanshetty502 (talk) 07:06, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Judging by the exchange below, and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vu TelePresence, we are clearly seeing deception of some sort - Shravanshetty502 was either lying about losing their job, or is lying about lying about losing their job. Examining the development of Vu TelePresence, it looks to me like a collaboration between two editors to create a marketing/promotional article. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:05, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Note to admin considering unblock request

This editor may be new to Wikipedia but inspection of their edits will show that he or she seems to be employed to make Wikipedia publicity material for at least one borderline notable corporation. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 07:49, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No i am not getting paid for this. "Please reply fast as my work is pending" i told this because most of the time when ever i put Heplme the admin will come and they will say please dont post this all the time. but when ever i dont post helpme no one will reply. So i started posting that i will lose my Job and all. U can check my work... i am not getting paid for this. I was new in wikipedia so i dont know who to edit and how to give reference. i wanted to create more pages and want to earn batches Shravanshetty502 (talk) 09:14, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK, so if you're not being paid to create a Wikipedia article, what did you mean by "Please check and please tell me what to do other wise i can lose my Job" at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vu TelePresence - was that just a lie then? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:34, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the contribs of both accounts, I see no overlap, but no tight dovetailing either. Plus, if this is a single editor, why would he make a fuss over this? Wouldn't he just just wait a very short time and edit with the primary account? This is obviously a COI editor, but the block is about sockpuppetry, right? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:03, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It was, yes - but I think collaboration in creating a promotional article written in marketing-speak, then deception either in the deletion report or here in discussing it, and the claim to be just friends, constitutes meatpuppetry - I endorse the block for meatpuppetry/deception, and would not recommend an unblock until we see some honesty here. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:09, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Boing! said Zebedee: Fair enough. But isn't it allowed for two registered editors to collaborate to create an article for their organization? Sure it's COI, but I don't see them practicing meat puppetry. I see only one at talk pages and AfD. Is this an indeffable offence?
Shravanshetty502: Hey! Don't be deceptive! Ding dong! Be up front! If you get unblocked, work on the article together, and that's it. But, Wikipedia has zero tolerance for any dishonesty or off-Wikipedia conspiring and monkey business to influence whether an article stays or is deleted. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:20, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)I think being deceptive about their relationship can be seen as meatpuppetry - this really does look like a paid promotion attempt to me, not just friends who happen to be interested in the same company. Shravanshetty502 has made no edits that do not relate to this company and its CEO, is writing in a blatantly promotional tone, and promotion-only accounts get blocked - I'm really not too bothered about the finer details of exactly what block reason has been chosen. But if we can get some honesty here, and some understanding of our policies on promotion, notability and reliable sources, I would not contest an unblock or a reduction in the block length. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:36, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No i dont think so collaboration work is only done for promotion. We wanted to learn so we both did it together. My english is not great so he use to help me. We both are friends and we dont work together but we practice wiki pedia together. In india there are very few wiki editors and i want to be the one . I never wanted to promote any thing i just want to be the editor of wiki Shravanshetty502 (talk) 10:30, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Look at this version, created and edited solely by Shravanshetty502, and tell me that is written in their own words by someone whose English is poor and who is just trying to learn. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:39, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are still not getting it, it was written by friend Cyberhawk 5 i only gave reference and it was not at my place. I dont think so working together is a crime Shravanshetty502 (talk) 10:45, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Who said this is my 1st article i have created 2 articles before this and also changed one image. This is not done Shravanshetty502 (talk) 10:41, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I and Cyberhawk 5 we both work together on wiki. the article was created by Cyberhawk 5 and i did the referencing. We both want to learn more about wiki. I only want to say that i am not promoting any thing Shravanshetty502 (talk) 10:50, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain what you meant by "lose my Job and all". Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:51, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Please reply fast as my work is pending" i told this because most of the time when ever i put Heplme the admin will come and they will say please dont post this all the time. but when ever i dont post helpme no one will reply. So i started posting that i will lose my Job and all. I had told you this earlier. See i dont know if there are some people who take money to write a article but i am not one of them. you only think i hardly have created any article why will any one pay me. If i was a professional wikipedia editor i would have never written all these things Shravanshetty502 (talk) 10:58, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
