At that time many companies did not yet have a real presence on the Internet. Therefore the company soon started designing and building websites as an additional service. The first employees were also hired that year.

StopBadWare and LeaseWeb announced on April 19, 2012 that they would unite their forces to combat cybercrime.[24] StopBadware is a nonprofit anti-malware organization that coordinates and brings together stakeholders throughout the Internet ecosystem. LeaseWeb sponsors StopBadware as a part of its Community Outreach Project.

LeaseWeb Texel Airshow

The Texel Airshow is an event that is organized every three years. LeaseWeb is the main sponsor of the 2012 edition held on July 28th, 2012. The event is one of Europe's largest airshows. It includes demonstrations from historic, military and civil teams. There are over 200 airplanes on display.

LeaseWeb Cloud 330 Experience

LeaseWeb offers its customers a unique way to experience the cloud. In 2012, LeaseWeb started with the Cloud 330 Experience. In a branded LeaseWeb aerobatics plane, an 330LT, customers are treated to a once in a lifetime experience. The 330LT is the fastest non-turbocharged, single-propeller airplane in the world with top speed of almost 400 KPH.
