"Young, Wild & Free" is a song by American rappers Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg. The song features American pop artist Bruno Mars. It was released as a digital download on October 11, 2011 in the United States. In its first week, it sold 159,000 digital copies,[1] debuting at #10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 44 on the Canadian Hot 100. The song samples the beat of the track "Sneakin' in the Back" from the 1974 album Tom Scott and The L.A. Express. This beat has been sampled several times, including in the song "Blue Lines" from Massive Attack's debut album Blue Lines, released in 1991.[2]

The music video was filmed on February in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It premiered on 23 February 2012. Bruno Mars does not appear in the music video, however his vocals remain.

Chart performance

In its first week, it sold 159,000 digital copies,[4] debuting at #10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 44 on the Canadian Hot 100. The song has so far peaked at no. 7 on Billboard Hot 100. As of February 2012, the song sold over 2 million digital units. [5]
