Orphaned fair use image (Image:DPJackandMaddie.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:DPJackandMaddie.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use rationale for Image:SaddamGrave.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:SaddamGrave.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu badali (talk) 03:23, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I've copied the Fair Use Rationale explanations from Image talk:SaddamGrave.jpg and put it onto its image description page, so do you think it's okay if I delete the warning template? --Angeldeb82 04:05, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Image:SaddamGrave.jpg listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:SaddamGrave.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Abu badali (talk) 20:01, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- That's okay. I couldn't save the picture because it was from Reuters, and Wikipedia does not accept images like that one as Fair Use. Besides, I gave a message for people working on the Saddam Hussein article to find me a picture of Saddam's grave that is similar to the one that is about to be deleted, only public domain this time. I hope you will forgive me. --Angeldeb82 00:46, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Dear Angeldeb82, thanks for the work on William Corder at find a grave. As a person that has seen the display about the red barn murder I think the word 'remains' might give the wrong impression. The museum has a copy of the Curtis book bound in his skin and a part of his scalp. Up to you if you want to change the entry just thought I would let you know. Thanks Edmund Patrick ( confer work) 20:35, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I've changed the bio entry for that matter, because, after all, his scalp and a book bound in his skin are a part of his remains. --Angeldeb82 (talk) 20:27, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Done. I've warned the new vandal. Unfortunately, you can't get a block on the first offence, which is the case here. Users must have an only warning or a last warning, or, for registered users, have made enough vandalism edits (usually >5) to be considered a vandalism only account, to be blocked. Birthdate of Elisabeth of Hungary
Hi Angeldeb,
You had asked me about my source for Elisabeth of Hungary's birthdate of July 7, 1207. First a little background. My parents are German immigrants to the US. My ancestors lived in Marburg and I went to university there for a year. I have studied Elisabeth for many years, as my mother's family claims to be descended from her through Margarethe, an illegitimate daughter of Landgrave William II of Hesse. (Don't know if that's true, though!) I was fortunate enough to be in Marburg in April 2007 when the preparations for Elisabeth Year were gearing up, and there were many exhibits and banners throughout the town which listed her birthdate. She was a royal child, so records were kept of the birth, and it was especially noted that the date was a "triple seven" -- 7/7/1207 -- so it was easy to remember. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have other questions. Haddison (talk) 21:26, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
VG Ratings
Hey, saw you adding info to the {{VG Ratings}} templates on several Phoenix Wright articles. Could you possibly use {{Cite web}} instead of linking via [these tags]? Cite web templates are preferred and easier to navigate. Thanks. NOCTURNENOIR ( t • c ) 04:18, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm gonna have to try when I get a chance, okay? --Angeldeb82 (talk) 04:22, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yep. Thanks for your hard work! NOCTURNENOIR ( t • c ) 04:24, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Try taking a look at User:Mr.Z-man/refToolbar, which has helped me use the {{cite web}}. It's a really useful script. NOCTURNENOIR ( t • c ) 04:32, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I took a look at that one. Unfortunately, there is no "Cite web" button anywhere on the "edit section". This stinks. :( --Angeldeb82 (talk) 04:45, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Take a look at the script I linked. That should add a icon to your editing toolbar (even if you access edits through "Edit Section." It will display {{Cite}}, but upon clicking it, the option to cite web, book, journal, etc, will appear in the form of buttons. Hope this helps! NOCTURNENOIR ( t • c ) 04:51, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Heya, just another quick message... I talked to a few users from WP:VG and they have tended to agree that each Reception section should have around 10 of the most well-known reviews instead of having loads of loads of reviews. Additionally, most WP:FA and WP:GA articles in the Video Games section run around 10 reviews. I have therefore begun to remove some of the reviews that you added. Just wanted to let you know! Hello :)
Err... apparently you don't know how to revert edits. You can found out how to do it by clicking on the link (revert), but I suppose I can tell you how normally: At the top of the page, near the "EDIT" button there is a "HISTORY". Click on that, you can go back and foward edits via those arrows (they are labled), and there is a thingy near the edit summary (in italics) that says (undo). Click on it and it'll set an edit page to what the page was like before that edit was made, and then you can "Save Changes" and revert it.
Help at all? :)--156.3.74.84 (talk) 20:42, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Windows Update are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Logan | Talk 23:25, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
You can't trust Wikipedia ya'know ;-)
Way back in 2007 you changed a date in the article Hanging. And way? Because you checked the article Adolf Eichmann at that time and it said "June 1".
And the change from "May 31" to "June 1" was made by an administrator (!), back in 14 March 2007, just a couple days before you copied that date.
Why did they make Jmlk17 make that change? Well, I'm not sure, and can't ask as Jmlk17 is 'gone'. The article's archives have some discussion back and forth in 2004. But it really would have been nice for Jmlk17 to include an "edit summary" explaining why.
Not to worry, as both articles have been changed back since, and I was just tracking down odd changes. But it is a good example where 'we' have to know when to trust and when to check... Oh, and how important edit summaries are. ;-) Shenme (talk) 04:31, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- I didn't know that an admin made the wrong change. But anyway, I'm glad you told me. :) --Angeldeb82 (talk) 15:52, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
ABC and CPR
Hi there,
just thought i'd give you a direct response as you posted the same request on a few article talk pages. The switch to doing compressions first has been international standard for several years now, but this is only performed on a patient who isn't breathing and you therefore need to open the airway and check breathing before starting. In the ABC article you can see this mentioned, as it is frequently taught as (check) Airway, (check) Breathing, (do) Compressions.
Hope that helps clarify! Any questions, give me a shout.

re:TMI
Ok, I'll break down the reason for the revert. The over-riding reason is that articles on fiction on Wikipedia shouldn't focus on the minutae of a character and shouldn't stray off topic. They should instead cover the fictional plot details as concisely as possible while maintaining a grip on the real-world parts of the character. For writing directly on plot, this means don't use 10 words when 1 will suffice: cut out the excess stuff and grab what is really relevant. You might benefit from reading over WP:WAF. Remember, these articles should be written as though for an audience entirely unfamiliar with the topic. Ultimately, this article, unlike most of the other Monkey Island articles, has been assessed by the community and classed as a good article, and needs to maintain that standard to keep that status.
1) La Esponja Grande and Feast of the Senses are entirely unexplained terms, they haven't been mentioned in the article before and are just thrown in without context. The general reader won't have a clue what is meant by these terms, and it would be straying off topic to have to go and explain them. It's far better to not refer to them directly at this level of plot detail, rather just talking about a generic "cure for the pox".
2) Noting all the changes Guybrush goes through also strays offtopic from Elaine's character and adds unnecessary fluff to the article. All that is needed is acknowledgement that Guybrush has returned from the dead; the exact nature of that is not pertinent here. Perhaps seeking a more generic word that covers being both a ghost and a zombie is needed, but expanding it to explain Guybrush's undead adventures isn't needed.
3) Elaine's change in clothing is trivial at best.
4) Morgan's role can be glossed over in favour of the more indepth explanation already in the main Tales of Monkey Island article. Elaine's role is the only one relevant on this page. Morgan is only mentioned once before in the article, and having to explain her predicament would be adding more off-topic stuff.

Take your pick: Catholic encyclopedia says 15 May, 1793. And all of these say 1793 anyway. I will not bother to debate this. Take it easy Angel. Cheers. History2007 (talk) 15:06, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for that interesting article. If you were to expand it a little and add inline citations (see WP:CITE), the article would qualify for front page exposure at T:TDYK. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 21:36, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

I reverted your edit to this article. Per WP:Albums/Ratings template, no more than 10 reviews should be included in the ratings template. Dan56 (talk) 03:59, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 12
Hi. When you recently edited Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 1UP (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
