Paul Walker confirmed dead

Sadly, this does not appear to be a hoax at all.

On November 30, 2013, at roughly 3:30 PM (PST), Walker and a companion were driving in Valencia, Santa Clarita, California, when the red Porsche sports car they were in swung out of control and crashed into a light pole and tree.[29] The car immediately exploded and burst into flames.[30][31][32] The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department declared two deceased at the scene"

I assume it's vague because, from what I've read so far, the identity of the driver and the cause of the crash haven't been released yet. It could be a combination. That particular car is reportedly very difficult to handle at high speed. There is nothing about his current long-time girl-friend under his personal life and they, according to internent reports, have been dating for seven years. Reader feedback: The coroner has yet to Ident...

The coroner has yet to Identify the body of Paul as being one in the car. As such, he should not be announced dead on here until he can be identified. Yes. There's no question who was in the car, and that they're both dead. The coroner just needs to provide a positive ID for each one, as the car was an inferno. I'm going to try 'reviewing' again and re-answer your question—it may be of interest to others. This is also new usage to me. As I recall how I did this successfully a few days ago, I go to the reader section (feedback from non-editors) and browse down the new comments. When I want to add a review, I click on the right and optionally add a comment. Death Section Content

Is this paragraph appropriately located:

Rodas and Walker became friends after meeting at a race track. Rodas became Walker's financial adviser in 2007 and helped to establish Reach Out Worldwide.[41] Rodas was the CEO of Always Evolving, a Valencia high-end vehicle performance shop owned by Walker.

I reorganized the sentences in the paragraph to separate the events of the accident from Rodas' relationship with Walker. I now see these sentences were moved to the the Personal life section, right above the Death section, which is fine. Anyone who wants to know who Rodas is doesn't have far to look to find out. Vehicle did not immediately burst into flames

In theory, if someone were right there, somehow, they might have been able to pull him from the car and revive. The coroner's report said he died from smoke and flame inhalation. That's the only real significance of it, except for some possible conspiracy theory as you say. Fine, but the point is that he was theoretically alive for a short time after the crash. If he was dead, he wouldn't have inhaled smoke. Role Of Porsche Carrera GT In Walker's Death

There is a clear misunderstanding being promulgated in the press about the car Walker was in. Reporting on Wikipedia and other car sources show that the Porsche is one of the fastest-braking cars in the world with better traction than almost any car available at any price. Thus a fatal crash in this car at 45 mph - or really any normal speed limit - is virtually impossible UNLESS the idiots driving it are trying to do something like "drift" a 600 hp racing car. This is something both of these men knew better than to do.

This car isn't "tricky" to drive at normal speeds. Hell, you don't even have to shift it past second gear to go the legal limit.

Consider the following fan paragraph found in SoapCentral: "I'll try to write a synopsis of how his role went on Y&R as a little tribute:

"Victor did not approve of his teen age daughter Victoria (Heather Tom) dating an older man, Ryan McNeil (Scott Reeves) so he tried to set her up with a business client's teen aged son she went to school with named Brandon (Paul Walker). She protested saying that he was a geek in school. Low and behold, one night she came home to find her father Victor had a surprise waiting for her: the boy named Brandon he was trying to set her up with. Of course, it was obvious from Brandon's excited look that he had a crush on her so all Vickie could do was to keep from being rude. It was to her horror though to find out that her father Victor had already set up for her and Brandon to go, not just on a date but to prom together. Then Victoria makes plans of her own just to get out from under her father's scoping eye on prom night. She agrees to go with Brandon but has secret plans to see Ryan McNeil instead.

"Later, Vickie makes further secret plans to elope with Ryan somehow getting past the under-age factor and uses Brandon as a decoy in her plan. He thinks she's going out of town to be with him but she only used him to get Victor to approve the trip since he trusted the clean cut kid. Only when they get to the hotel room out of town, Brandon is shocked to find Ryan there and that she plans to marry the guy. Brandon does his best to talk her out of it to no avail ... but Vickie begs the kid not to tell her father. Somehow Victor found out (I can't recall of it was from Brandon or not) and all hell broke loose with Victor having Ryan arrested for marrying his underage daughter.
