Requested move

  • This move was requested in a long list of routine decapitalizations, but this seems to be a special case: ref old discussion quoted here. Some say that the Magnificent Frigatebird is not the same as any frigatebird which happens in someone's opinion to be magnificent. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 08:37, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Mav. That was an incorrect move. It's the Magnificent Frigatebird, not a magnificent frigatebird. Like the Brown Rat isn't the brown rat. Mintguy
  • Ok. I'm wrong. I understand now (probably), I've always been confused about when to use capitalization. Mintguy
  • Actually it's Magnificent Frigatebird and brown rat. The capitalization of common names rule only technically applies to birds. --Aranae 05:22, Dec 21, 2004 (UTC)
