Trina Nishimura is an American anime voice actress who has worked primarily with Funimation. At age 3, her family moved from Sacramento, California to Amarillo, Texas. She started doing plays and performing at the community theater at age 9, and continued through high school.[2] She got her Bachelor of Arts in Radio in University of North Texas at Denton.[3] Her first voice acting role was in Desert Punk as Namiko. She voices Nadie in the girls with guns series El Cazador de la Bruja, and Mari Illustrious Makinami in Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.[4] Her latest role was in the hit anime series Attack on Titan as Mikasa Ackermann.[5]
Besides voice acting, Nishimura works as a bartender in the Dallas/Fort-Worth area.[2]
