Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Jep!, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:57, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

March 2016

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Save My Life: Boston Trauma. Your edits have been or will be reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Laber□T 23:42, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Disney shows

Has there been a discussion about placing all Disney and ABC shows into one category? I haven't seen one - please show me if there is one. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 16:41, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The is Category:Television series by Disney–ABC Domestic Television, all Disney and ABC shows must be in that category.

Why? Has consensus been reached? It's a large category to go about changing arbitrarily. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 19:55, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disney owns all Disney or ABC shows in the 3 categorys, i want all Disney-ABC shows in one category, i will make the same as other television series by studio categorys.

Have you discussed it with anyone else? --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 22:41, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No, and i want Disney shows in one category since the info says this, Television shows owned, produced and/or distributed by The Walt Disney Company's Disney–ABC Domestic Television (formerly Buena Vista Television) division, including ABC Studios/Touchstone Television, Walt Disney Television and Disney Television Animation, ABC (including network-produced shows prior to its sale to Worldvision in 1973 with a few exceptions) and produced programs (1973–1996), Marvel Entertainment, Lucasfilm, some programs originally produced by Jim Henson Productions, and Saban Entertainment.

"Wanting it" isn't a good enough reason, I'm afraid. Please take it up with WP:WikiProject Television or a related project to get consensus. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 16:21, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Im trying to merge the 2 categories (Category:Television series by ABC Studios and Category:Television series by Disney), and Category:Television series by Lucasfilm, since one category is better then 4 alone categorys.

No, that's incorrect. Disney–AbC Domestic Television is a single, particular production company. The category does not apply to all TV series now owned by other Disney subsidiaries. Your edits are wrong, and will be reverted. Cease. oknazevad (talk) 23:36, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:35, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Abusing multiple accounts

Please stop editing anonymously and then using MSDIS (talk · contribs) to pretend to give indendent support to your proposals. It doesn't fool anyone, and could result in both accounts being blocked. Just use one or the other from now on, preferably the registered account. – Fayenatic London 14:40, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This may be an older sockmaster than that. See #Sockpuppet investigation below. Ibadibam (talk) 17:59, 18 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Merging categories without discussion

Please do not merge or redirect categories without discussion, as you did at Category:Television series by Force Four Entertainment. If you do this again, it will be considered disruptive editing and may lead to your being blocked from editing for a period of time. – Fayenatic London 20:04, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Television series by..."

Categories such as Category:Television series by Corus Entertainment are not applied on the basis of what company owns the network that ran a series — they're applied on the basis of what company produced the series, which is not the same thing. A TV show is not added to that category just because it ran on a channel or network that is owned by Corus — it's added to that category only if Corus or a Corus-owned subsidiary is listed as the production company. Please do not prematurely remove categories

Hi there. You recently removed members of Category:Television series by Universal Studios after proposing the deletion of that category. Please be aware that proposing a category for deletion does not guarantee that deletion will be the outcome, and other editors need to be able to see the category as it currently exists in order to make a good-faith evaluation of your proposal, so we should avoid mass changes until the discussion is formally closed. Please also note that there are already automated processes in place for cleaning up deleted and merged categories, so at no time is it necessary to do this work manually. Thanks, Ibadibam (talk) 18:25, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I will not do it next time when i delete a category. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.54.189.22 (talk) 18:27, 25 April 2016

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Your recent talk page comments on User talk:Trivialist were not added to the bottom of the page. New discussion page messages and topics should always be added to the bottom. Your message may have been moved. In the future you can use the "New section" link in the top right. Information icon Greetings. Some of your recent edits do not appear to be civil toward other editors. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to (re-?) familiarize yourself with our policies and guidelines. In particular, it's relevant that WP:CIVIL says, "Editors are expected to be reasonably cooperative, ... to work within the scope of policies, and to be responsive to good-faith questions."You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Trivialist (talk) 21:59, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please wait for outcomes

I would like to suggest that you take a break from nominating new category merges until your existing nominations have been closed. When you see the outcomes of those discussions, it will help you understand whether a new nomination will be successful. As it is now, it's getting difficult to keep up with all the changes you propose each day, most of which are variations on the same theme. Let's wait now, for the administrators to weigh the various arguments and announce what they determine the consensus to be. Ibadibam (talk) 20:28, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah its time for a little break. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.54.189.22 (talk) 21:40, 11 May 2016

DreamWorks/Comcast

Correct, Comcast is planning to buy DreamWorks Animation, but it hasn't happened yet. According to the reference you just re-added, "The transaction is expected to close later this year, subject to an antitrust review by government regulators." Trivialist (talk) 20:27, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Television companies

Please don't add distributors to articles about television programs unless you have a source that verifies your edit. Please don't assume who a program's distributor will be based on who owns the show now. Thanks. Trivialist (talk) 17:09, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Come on, King Shadeed and other TV fans, need the TV series by studio category have distributed or owned programming, your doing wrong edits by removing categories.

Sorry, but I can't understand what you're saying. And can you please sign your comments, by adding ~~~~ after them? It's not like you're new to Wikipedia, WCVB98swell. Trivialist (talk) 19:03, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Im not WCVB98swell, plus TV fans like KS need to have the TV series by studios category back to where they used to be.

Wikipedia articles aren't arranged a certain way because a few people "need" it like that. Your organizational urges are your own problem, not Wikipedia's. Trivialist (talk) 21:08, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

CfD

Crossing out things on a CfD page, as you did here, doesn't cancel them out, you know. Trivialist (talk) 21:08, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm really curious to know what the thought process was there, and the immediate self-revert that followed. Ibadibam (talk) 21:14, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
In particular, I'm wondering whether there is another user on the same connection. Ibadibam (talk) 17:54, 18 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
There are only two ways, for the record, that a comment in a deletion discussion can ever be struck out: (a) the commenter themselves decides to withdraw part or all of their own comment, or (b) an administrator deems a comment invalid because the commenter has been blocked from editing Wikipedia for some reason. You do not get to unilaterally deem anybody else's comments invalid just because they disagreed with you — try something like that again and there will be consequences. Bearcat (talk) 17:31, 18 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

Thanks for adding the category sort keys for Category:Television series by HBO Independent Productions‎ and Category:Television series by HBO Downtown Productions that I forgot to include. I can't believe I forgot them! :) Trivialist (talk) 16:07, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
