The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is an educational government organisation in Peshawar Division. The BISE head-office is located in Peshawar.

History

BISE Peshawar was established in 1961 by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Early it was controlling the intermediate education of whole Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but later the board split into the three boards.
