It's more theoretical concept than an invention and Dijkstra invented many algorithms (most notably, Dijkstra's algorithm)

User:Drotyu, it's one of many algorithms that were invented by Dutch computer scientist Edsger Dijkstra. Dijkstra's algorithmic inventions are original, but they are more theoretical computing concepts (like mathematical or physical concepts) than inventions.
