Church returns to the base to be informed by Doc of Tucker's alien child. After Doc bribed Caboose with a cookie and orange juice to donate a gallon of blood as food for the baby, it has begun to wreck havoc around the base in an energetic fit. Furthermore, Tucker has fallen into a coma following the birth. As Church and Doc argue over who is allowed to handle the situation, and which one of them outranks the other, the crash of the spaceship is heard. Church leaves to investigate the sound.
After confirming that no one except Donut was injured in the crash (much to Sarge's dismay), the Reds argue over how to rescue him from underneath the ship. While Simmons suggests a series of practical plans, Sarge decides to use an excessively complicated device, and rushes back to Red base in the Warthog to retrieve a "levitation ray", taking the jack and shovels in the vehicle with him. Church arrives, and upon hearing what the craft is, calls dibs. When the Reds protest, they are reminded that Sheila is standing right next to them, and are told to leave.
