The Crash Lucha Libre or simply The Crash is a Mexican Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) promotion based in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. The promotion largely runs its events in Tijuana, Mexico City and Monterrey. They have a talent sharing relationship with Promociones MDA in Monterrey and had a working relationship with Impact Wrestling until Konnan, the intermediary between the two promotions, left The Crash.[1][2][3][4][5] They also have a current working relationship with DEFY wrestling in Seattle, Washington, United States.[6]
The Crash is considered the third largest professional wrestling promotion in Mexico after the much older CMLL and AAA.[7] and has been touted as the fastest growing lucha libre company in the world.[6] The promotion uses wrestlers from the Mexican and American independent circuit (notably Pro Wrestling Guerrilla regulars). On April 6, 2018, The Crash promoted its first show in the United States at The Sugar Mill in New Orleans, Louisiana.[8]
