What instrument or effect is making the rat-ta-tat-tat type sound at the end of Guns N' Rose's November Rain

At the end of this song, there is this rat-ta-tat-tat type noise that persists for a few seconds while the music slowly fades. I'm wondering if anyone knows or can guess at what instrument or effect produces that sound.

Here is a cut to where I think it is most prominent. From this start, the sound can be heard for about 5 seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SbUC-UaAxE&t=532

It's a synthesizer. Not sure of the exact model they used. Similar effects can be heard throughout songs like "Won't Get Fooled Again".--Jayron32 10:12, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am please looking for the lyrics to Die Saad van die Onkruid by Willem Welsyn. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.131.40.58 (talk) 18:10, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia generally does not post lyrics. What have you found on Google so far? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots20:26, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing, that's why I am asking for help from my fellow Wikipedians to scour the WWW. Thanks. Anton — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.131.40.58 (talk) 09:41, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently the title literally translates to "the seed of that weed"? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots15:36, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Courtesy link: Willim Welsyn, note the correct spelling. Have you explored his web page at https://williamwelfare.com? I haven't searched through it to see if they're there (primarily because I'm not literate in Afrikaans), but if they're not, it has a contact page through which you could ask him directly. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.23.195} 90.199.208.126 (talk) 09:44, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Continuity of the X-Men films

I am confused about exactly where the film Logan fits into the continuity of the X-Men films. Can someone please explain this for me? Freeknowledgecreator (talk) 01:31, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This article will gives several possible timelines but I suspect there are plenty of other theories out there. MarnetteD|Talk 01:40, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The Den of Geek link works hard, but it seems to conflate retcons with history that has been deliberately changed. When First Class got made, they made the decision to not consider it a reboot/retcon, but rather an... expansion of what the first set of movies had done. However, while doing that, they introduced changes that really in no way fit into what had gone before (Mystique's attack on Xavier in the first movie really jars now). So, the question is not so much which timeline Logan belongs to, it's whether the events in the first set of films should be considered part of the "new" storyline shown by the current movies or not. That is, does Magneto's attack on the Statue of Liberty still take place, despite what's shown in FC, DOFP, and Apocalypse? If it does, then Logan takes place in the single timeline shown as part of every movie in the series with the exception of the "future" scenes in Day of Future Past, which is now an alternative timeline. If the Statue of Liberty thing does not happen in the FC, DOFP, Apocalypse timeline, then all bets are off. :) Matt Deres (talk) 20:36, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You are assuming that the X-Men films actually have continuity. --Khajidha (talk) 13:04, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Question about the movie, "The Passion of Joan of Arc"

I heard of this movie for the first time today, and became curious about it. On the movie's page, it says, "it was a major critical success when first released and has consistently been considered one of the greatest films ever made since 1928." The words "greatest films ever made" have a link to the page, "List of films considered the best." This link is ostensibly a reference/citation, to prove the veracity of this claim. But on the linked page, no mention of this film is made! Is the problem with the statement, or with the "best films" page? Shouldn't there be some reference to the film on the "best films" page? KelpTheGreat (talk) 01:48, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The snippet was inserted in this version on June 11 2014. At that time the target page did have a section listing this film. Appears that one has changed in the interim without updating the other. Nanonic (talk) 02:51, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nanonic, this demonstrates fairly vividly why Wikipedia is not a reliable source, and things such as this need a direct citation to a reliable secondary source. Same goes for lists such as alumni of universities or notable people from a city, etc. Elizium23 (talk) 02:55, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Lists of alumni are factual. "Greatest" anything is likely to be very subjective. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots04:02, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Baseball Bugs, the fact that we actually have an article on that topic proves that the 'best film' opinion can be verifiable and sourceable. Plenty of critics, magazines and websites publish lists of the best things, and therefore we can, and should, cite those sources wherever necessary. Elizium23 (talk) 04:07, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Okay then, can someone who's more knowledgeable than I edit either the Joan page or the greatest films page so that the statement on one will match the other? I don't know whether it'd be better to remove the quote on the Joan page, or re-add a reference to the movie being highly-reviewed on the greatest films page, or something else entirely.KelpTheGreat (talk) 22:24, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Differences between PS3 version and PS4 release?

As a lot of you probably already know, some video games originally released for Playstation 3 were also released for Playstation 4 at a later date especially if they are popular since Playstation 4 apparently has no backward compatibility. Examples include Dynasty Warriors 8 and Dark Souls. Are there any noticeable differences between the PS3 versions and PS4 versions for these games? 70.95.44.93 (talk) 12:39, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know about the two you mentioned specifically, but Skyrim was re-mastered for release on the PS4 (and XBOne). This included bug fixes as well as an upgraded experience by way of moving to 64-bit computing from 32-bit computing. In addition, the PS4 and XBOne also allowed the use of game mods, which had been unavailable to console users until then. Grand Theft Auto V was re-relased as well, with similar upgrades to graphics, etc. detailed here. Matt Deres (talk) 19:53, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Do you know where I could find a list of PS3 games that have been released on PS4? 70.95.44.93 (talk) 05:11, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That would be quite a long list. There's a nifty tool on Wikipedia which allows you to combine categories. When I combined the categories for PS3 and PS4 games, 417 games came up. --Viennese Waltz 07:50, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
