Nazar 2 (Evil Eye), the second season of the series Nazar is an Indian supernatural thriller horror television series which airs on Star Plus and streams on Hotstar. It is produced by Gul Khan and Karishma Jain under 4 Lions Films, directed by Atif Khan and written by Mrinal Jha. It premiered on 19 February 2020 and stars Antara Biswas, Shruti Sharma and Sheezan Mohammad.[1]

The first season aired from 30 July 2018 to 18 February 2020, starring Antara Biswas, Harsh Rajput and Niyati Fatnani.[2][3]

Plot

Madhulika motivates her younger brother Apurv as he prepares to meet a potential suitor. Later, she does the unexpected when a Daayan approaches the house. After an explosive battle, Madhulika hums a haunting Melody to stop some witness from revealing her secret. Later, Apurv's marriage preparations get underway. While a magical bond develops between Palak and Apurv, Madhulika tortures the bride and kills her. Later, Naina, Palak's sister meets with a fatal accident. Due to that, Palak needs 10 hundred thousand rupees to save Naina. Meanwhile, Vishala Daayan, Madhulika's sworn enemy, tries to suck Apurv's life but is caught. Palak agrees to marry Apurv, in order to take 10 hundred thousand rupees, but Madhulika uses all her powers to stop the marriage, but in vain. Due to that, she looses all her Daayan powers.

  • Antara Biswas as Madhulika: Apurv's Sister and Daayan whose motive is to kill Apurv on a special day to become Ekayaan.
  • Shruti Sharma as Palak Verma: A Devik who get torture by her maternal aunt. She is very kind to her sister
  • Sheezan Mohammad as Apurv Singh Chaudhary : a Daavansh. His mental age is 5 years old.

  • Nisha Nagpal as Vishala Daayan: A Daayan whose aim is to kill Apurv and become Ekayaan. She is the most sworn enemy of Madhulika.

Production

In the first week of February 2020, producer Gul Khan confirmed the end of season 1 and production of season 2 of the series.[3] In 14 February 2020, the teaser of season 2 was released featuring Monalisa.[7] Later, the promo featuring Monalisa and Sheezan Mohammad was released.[8]
