What a disaster! Someone listed every two-bit player who ever grunted on stage in some sort of Badfinger line-up? Why not list all the roadies as well; that should completely muddy up the waters. ZincOrbie (talk) 03:00, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think somebody's uncle is in there.--andreasegde (talk) 10:04, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sense has prevailed.--andreasegde (talk) 15:13, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't me that did it... but I was wondering... should it be updated as Joey Molland still tours as Badfinger, even if we may or may not agree with the decision? http://www.badfingersite.com/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.76.35.254 (talk) 21:36, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The focus should be on the classic lineup and their formative years as The Iveys along with Jackson as they were breaking up around 1975. The Molland Badfinger can mention Jackson but the other band members are forgettable. The article doesn't even list Mike Gibbins birthday with a redirect for him back to this page. 22yearswothanks (talk) 19:57, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just because Joey Tours as BadFinger certainly doesn't mean he IS BadFinger. I guess he just owns the Band name. Joey Molland is NOT BadFinger in the same sense that Paul McCartney is NOT the Beatles. albabe - The Writer/Artist Formally Known as Al Gordon 16:33, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Re-recorded hits

This article, as well as the article on Joey Molland, omits the fact that Molland re-recorded most if not all of the group's hits in Nashville in 1994. He sang the songs; members Ham and Evans had sung the originals. The line-up of musicians was to my knowledge never disclosed. These newly recorded, but inauthentic and inferior, singles were sold individually and released on at least one album. The singles were marketed aggressively, resulting in placement on Amazon singles lists and many "Greatest Hits of the 70's" type cassettes and CD's, causing the newly recorded songs to replace the original versions and become ubiquitous. This is an important part of the story to tell. 50.54.224.72 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 13:14, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I quite agree, That is quite important. Do you have any sources for this information? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:55, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree!!! Please site the sources for all this! I think some of this is reported in Dan Matovina's Biography of BadFinger.

Day After Day Producer Credit

I added Todd as CoProducer of Day After Day. There are many Interviews where he describes what George and He did. Todd had them ReRecord the Drums and Other things and Mixed it.

The problem is that is not what the sources say. If we look at a scan from the actual single (see here) it says produced by Harrison. Karst (talk) 17:22, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Slang ?

If we're going to pick holes in the syntax by objecting to 'see-sawed', how about that absurd 'floundered'? It's possible that 'foundered' is what was intended, but who knows. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:44B8:3102:BB00:7855:4709:4998:D4E3 (talk) 06:28, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
