Why do you see Forum for Democracy as far right political party?

Hi, I'm from the Netherlands and Forum for Democracy isn't a far right party at all, please look at their point of view on https://forumvoordemocratie.nl/standpunten Forum for Democracy is also member of the European ECR Party that isn't far right at all. I would consider partys like the AfD, Front National and for example the Brazilian president Bolsonaro as far-right. Why do you see them as a far-right party?

Hi there anon, I don't make any judgements. I did some checking on what are you on about, and see that I made a revert on page you mentioned. It was simply removed because it was unsourced content/opinion. Content with reputable sources will typically be accepted on Wikipedia pages. Also, please sign your messages with four tildes so I know who I am talking to. Thanks. GreaterPonce665 (talk) 20:47, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Frood 06:19, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Raghunath Anant Mashelkar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page FRS (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Duke Page

I will once again ask how providing context for Duke being a top 10 university within the US is any different than being a top 20 university worldwide. That is not puffery, POV, nor COI. Either both go or both stay, in my opinion. We can discuss this further if you would like. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.3.43.45 (talk) 23:01, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This user (ElKevbo) is repeatedly vandalizing Duke's page. I'm not experienced enough to know how to get him to stop but I recently provided four citations from Forbes, US News, The Wall Street Journal, and Niche ranking Duke in the top 10 and he deleted my contribution without any explanation despite the fact that virtually every other school has similar rankings information in the lede. Can you please report him on my behalf?
Please stop telling me to report other users, especially @ElKevbo:, dude's a professional.. Also, stop academic boosterism and cherry picking sources . Sign your comments with fours tildes(~). GreaterPonce665 (TALK) 19:01, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar (film) article issues.

I added a templates on sub sections of this article.beacuse these sub sections do not have references, citations. They're written like a essay. Their is no way to verify information provided in sections - Production, Cast. Most of the statement lines are unreferenced.you can watch it yourself. Kundan Ravindra Dhayade (talk) 14:48, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Kundan Ravindra Dhayade, Thanks for letting me know. There are hundreds of thousands of articles with little to no references, and it may not be always worthwhile to keep adding unreferced or refimprove templates. For cast section, typically citations are not required. 10 citations for a movie are not bad, so I don't think that refimprove at the beginning is needed. I'll take a look. Thanks. Help to add images in infoboxs in wiki articles.

I read you edit articles related to India and your experienced editor on Wikipedia. So I invite you to edit pictures in infoboxes of some articles, further mentioned- Eknath Khadse, Girish Mahajan, Muktabai. Chandrakant Nimba Patil. Tell me how can add logo in my Colleges wikipedia article. It's name is G.G. Khadse college. Kundan Ravindra Dhayade (talk) 14:55, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback

Hi GreaterPonce665. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! bibliomaniac15 02:22, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

SHC014-COV

I had written that I had sourced my rationale for deletion of sections of the article on SHC014-COV. It looks like you saw those and reverted the article back to my edits. I appreciate it. The article was previously in clear violation of WP:Original Research. The news articles from RT, FoxNews and The Guardian never mentioned SHC014-COV, or that it could be the parental virus. And one of their sources explicitly discounts the possibility (ironically enough). Articles about coronaviruses need to be watched carefully, as people adding blurbs like the deleted one is becoming commonplace. ComradeScientist (talk) 03:38, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear User:ComradeScientist, thanks for being a thorough editor. I have background in chemistry but its materials chemistry, so I can't fairly judge the claims in posted articles. I appreciate you taking time to explain your edits. GreaterPonce665 (talk) 03:43, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Ashurpedia, it would be preferable to add a source or may be remove ethnicity info if there's no source at all. I think there's some valuable data there, and most town pages are poorly cited anyways. I would love to keep the info there, but if you feel strongly about it, I'll not revert your work. Thanks. Important Notice

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please carefully read this information:

A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The specific details of these sanctions are described here.

Broadly, general sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Sock edits

With regards to your problematic revert, see WP:BMB, which says that all edits of a blocked sock can be removed for the reason alone that it was made by a sockpuppet. Fact that you restored the problematic section shunned by WP:NOCRIT would make you responsible for any of the content that was being added there. "He was criticised for spreading fake news" is not even supported by the source. What criticism? Be careful with editing in these subjects given you have been notified of sanctions already above which are active in this area. Aman Kumar Goel (Talk) 13:11, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Aman.kumar.goel, I agree with your revert here; wasn't aware for WP:BMB policy. I still believe the content belongs there, albeit with a more neutral tone. About the notice part, hundreds of editors have it - you also have it on your talk page - so no need to insinuate anything here. GreaterPonce665 (talk) 13:14, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I was only reminding because many editors ignore the sanctions. I don't see why the content should be added. Sure he made a comment which created a kind of reception but it does not represent his career or significantly affects his image. If every comment of these people have been analyzed on Wikipedia then the page would become too big in no time, contrary to WP:INDISCRIMINATE. Aman Kumar Goel (Talk) 13:49, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Your recent edit to the article is much better than what I was expecting. Thanks for it. Aman Kumar Goel (Talk) 13:55, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Sorry, I was getting leery without cause. GreaterPonce665 (talk) 14:07, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User talk pages

Please review WP:BLANKING. The only things users may not remove from their talk pages are declined unblock requests (while the block is active), and a few things related to MFD and shared IPs. Users are free to remove block notices, warnings, and pretty much anything else. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 18:39, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Duke

Please familiarize yourself with other university pages. Forbes, US News, and the Wall Street Journal produce the most credible and widely read rankings in the US. There is nothing "cherry picked" about these sources. The line about Duke being a top 10 school deserves to be featured prominently in the lede. Particularly when other schools of similar caliber have all this fluff about being among "the most prestigious universities in the world" in their ledes. If you have a problem with it being in the lede, open it up to the community for resolution. Please don't edit the article without the input of others. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.74.237.226 (talk) 22:43, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism?

Hi GreaterPonce665, could you please tell me why you made this revert as vandalism? [1]. It doesn't look that way to me; if it was a mistake could you put it back and remove the IP's talk page warning? Thanks. --IamNotU (talk) 01:34, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @IamNotU:, I do not believe it was a mistake, that edit looked as if it were a plot for a movie or a fiction. While it was not necessary a case of vandalism, I was using Huggle and probably didn't select correct user message. Please see Template:Tone. Would you like me to change the message to something else? Thanks. GreaterPonce665 (TALK) 02:12, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, sorry but I still don't understand. The edits look to me like a simple copy edit. They've fixed grammar, punctuation, wording, etc. No significant material was added or removed. There are maybe a couple of mistakes and some changes in wording that are a bit pointless, but overall it looks like an improvement. The IP has been copy-editing a lot of articles, again with some small problems and typos, but generally looks constructive and helpful. Maybe you could take another look? --IamNotU (talk) 12:01, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I still do not think that edit was a simple copy edit; there's no improvement in the article, mostly pointless edit. I feel that you are interested in editor retention here, so sure, I'll remove my message on ip talk page. Thanks. GreaterPonce665 (TALK) 13:07, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for removing the vandalism warning. I'm still not sure exactly what's wrong with the edits though, and I'd like to know if there is a problem in general with this user's edits that should be looked at more carefully. I did have to fix some careless mistakes they made in a couple of other articles. If you have the time, could you explain what you mean by "looked as if it were a plot for a movie or a fiction", and why you think it was something other than copy editing? Thanks. --IamNotU (talk) 14:28, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shailendra Singh (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Response to Dr. Brown deletion

You are the expert, but you may want to consider that my addition to the Wikipedia bio that cited Dr. Brown's quote did cite my book "In the President's Secret Service." The Washington Post obit which the Wikipedia bio cites as a source considered the quote significant enough to include it, so an outside source--namely the Washington Post--did consider it important. In addition, since you asked why the quote is relevant, the Washington Post obit said, "In Washington, Dr. Brown became an authority on political psychiatry, focusing on individual leadership qualities, group dynamics, political strategy and tactics to achieve policy goals, especially when it came to the occupier of the White House." But I respectfully bow to your expertise and hope this additional info may be helpful! Previously I was not sure it alone was worthy enough quote to be included in a start-class article (per WP:DUE).
