An interactive map of Wikipedia Education Programs for Outreach wiki
Hi Arun,
You may not remember me. We corresponded briefly back in October about your IEG proposal for the Wikimaps Atlas project. I hope that work is going well. :)
I'm on the WMF's global education team now, and some of our community members have asked us to add a map of educational programs on education.wikimedia.org. We really want this, too; and we'd especially like to have an interactive map, like this one used by Wiki Loves Monuments here.
I've submitted a map request on the Wikipedia:Graphics Lab/Map workshop. But that process could take quite a while and it isn't guaranteed. So they suggest proposing a direct collaboration with a mapmaker using his talk page to request special maps.
I wanted to reach out to you because I remembered all the praise your proposal got from the mapmaking community. :)
Do you know anyone in the cartography community who might want to participate in this? Could you possibly help us with this? I'm hoping so! :)
I'm also reaching out to your project partner User:Yug.
All the best, Arun. Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 23:00, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
- Dear Arun, just wanted to let you know that the map that I requested your help with has already been made by User:NordNordWest here. Thanks anyway. :) Hope all is well. Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 17:26, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- Dear Anna, sincere apologies, I missed seeing your message in all the other work that was happening at that time. Glad that you got the map, cheers. -- PlaneMad|YakYak 17:48, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Agriya/Reverse Bidding system
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Agriya/Reverse Bidding system, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Thomas.W talk 14:00, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

Indian svg images vs Pakistani svg images
Hi Arun Ganesh ! I am Nehal Dave from Gujarat Ahmedabad. I am active in sa.wikipedia. I have seen you created so many images in svg format. I know you are volunteer and all that, but I want to ask you few question. I hope you don't mind.
1. You can see below in Indian maps Kasmir is noted as disputed aria and same in pakistani images Kasmir is the part of that country. So what is the matter, why we can't create a map in which Kasmir appear as part of India ?
2. We don't want to change pakistani images, but can't we change our Indian images ?
3. If yes than can you change or teach me that how to create svg file and rules of that ?
4. If no than what are the rule or problems will be occurred ? Tell me your point of view.
Please help and guide me. Thank you....

The file File:User Planemad.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Personal file, no foreseeable encyclopedic use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jon Kolbert (talk) 20:30, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

India Cultural Regions
Back in 2006, you made several maps of unofficial cultural regions of India. I have found the ones I’ve seen very informative, however, I have no idea where I would find the rest. If you wouldn’t mind, could you list all the pages where I could find them?
P.S. I’m new at Wikipedia messaging, so I’m still a little confused on what “signing” is and how to do it.
