Hi,

I am quite disappointed that your bot has twice deleted Category Talk:Dam failures in Europe.

Would you kindly please create (which I am not able to do) with the content of Category Talk:Dam failures in Europe before deletion?

As the Talk page is the only namespace I can create, I have put the content for there. Which makes it frustrating that I had twice to look up which categories is to be a sub-category of.

You can see my Edits in Carlo Semenza (engineer), Vajont Dam and Malpasset Dam, if you want to verify whether I am a vandal or troll. --2003:C8:4714:600:49CE:C61F:D371:4268 (talk) 10:28, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

SP:Random

Please could you explain why you speedily deleted SP:RANDOM under criterion WP:CSD#R2 when there was a clear consensus at the discussion that it does not apply? Thryduulf (talk) 14:47, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I share Thryduulf's curiosity. (note for clarity: SP:Random was subsequently restored and re-deleted under G7) — Godsy (TALKCONT) 16:02, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Thryduulf and Godsy. I agree that R2 does not apply. The original author had requested deletion, which I honored. If you strongly feel the redirect should be reinstated, then well, there's nothing stopping you from doing so. -FASTILY 22:25, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That's my main issue with leaving things in the current state; given Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2020 December 28#SP:Random, it shouldn't be eligible for WP:REFUND. Would you mind restoring it and re-deleting it per the discussion and then amending the close? That way, if anyone comes along to see what happened to the page in the future then they will be led to the place where consensus regarding it was determined. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 21:43, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I've restored the page because someone has re-opened the discussion. I believe this renders your concern moot. -FASTILY 05:16, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Baroda Football Academy

You have deleted this page - please can you close the associated AFD? GiantSnowman 19:21, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi GiantSnowman. The page was disruptively moved to Draft:Baroda Football Academy. I've moved the page back to Baroda Football Academy and warned the offending editor so that the AfD may continue. Regards, FASTILY 23:50, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

thx

Thanks for mythe many, recent speedy deletion requests [I made] you took care of. Have a nice edit, -DePiep (talk) 00:33, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi DePiep. Of course, glad I could help! Best, FASTILY 00:38, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It wast just, in deletion log I only see your name, I wanted to check you be a person ;-) ;-) . Never met you elsewhere AFAIK. -DePiep (talk) 00:41, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the creator has again moved the 'article' back to draft despite your 'only warning' message on their talk page on 6 January. I am reluctant to move it back to main so the AfD can continue as it becomes move-warring. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 12:21, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted the move, but will leave it to Fastily to determine whether further action is required. --Paul_012 (talk) 15:19, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK thanks; I'd be willing to stake a small amount on it being moved a third (or is it fourth?) time though. Eagleash (talk) 15:22, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Eagleash & Paul 012. Thanks for letting me know, I've indef'd the user. Regards, FASTILY 22:11, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Histories lost due to R2 deletions following cut-&-paste moves

Hi. You recently deleted the pages Jakkajan Wanwisa, Kat Rattikarn and Praewa Patcharee as CSD#R2. However, the pages had substantial edit history and were redirected following improper cut-&-paste moves. Please restore the histories and hist-merge to Draft:Jakkajan Wanwisa, Draft:Kat Rattikarn and Draft:Praewa Patcharee, respectively (or wherever the pages' material currently is). Thanks. --Paul_012 (talk) 15:05, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Paul 012. I had a look at the histories, and they just appear to be automatically generated edits created post-page move. It's quite possible I'm missing something; I don't consider myself an expert at fixing this sort of thing. I recommend asking about this at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge so someone more experienced can have a look. Regards, FASTILY 22:11, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What a mess. I've cleaned this up, well mostly. The articles are back where they were and the irrelevant cut and paste stuff is deleted in drafts. I've also revoked NPR from the responsible patroller because this isn't the first time I've seen them doing this. — JJMC89(T·C) 09:16, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, JJMC89, for sorting this, and Fastily for the earlier response. --Paul_012 (talk) 12:22, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Fastily: Hi admin, I have contested the deletion but why was it still delete without any reply for the contest. The website is the artist agency website and all the way at the end of the page, it mentioned that if any users whom would like to use the images, we have to include the source which I have done so. Is there something, I'm missing here? Maybe the permission template is wrong, however could be corrected isn't it? Btw, I did quick view through the REFUND pages. – Paper9oll (📣📝) 15:24, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Paper9oll. I believe this was explained to you here. Regards, FASTILY 04:49, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Fastily: Hi, yes I already gotten the explanation. Thanks for the reply. – Paper9oll (📣📝) 04:53, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you for reenabling rollback on my account. I'm glad to see you trust me.

The interface seems much as I remembered it, though I needed to play with the CSS for a while to make the link easier to see without it being distracting. I promise I will not cause any problems with misclicks or with aggressive patrolling, since I will only be using it in situations where I know the content of the edit before I revert it.
