Desert Inn

[edit]
  • ... that when Howard Hughes overstayed his 10-day reservation at Las Vegas' Desert Inn and was asked to leave, he responded by buying the hotel?

Improved to Good Article status by Dr. Blofeld (talk), Rosiestep (talk), SusunW (talk), and Yoninah (talk). Nominated by Yoninah (talk) at 20:30, 19 December 2015 (UTC).

  • Article promoted to good article status. It's long enough, neutral, uses inline citations and I cannot see any major copyright violations (two of the top three results provided by Earwig's Copyvio Detector appear to have copied text from the article, the other result is "possible" due to the cited quote in the Legacy section). Hook is interesting, fewer than 200 characters, cited in the History section. QPQ has been done. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:00, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
