The result was merge to Glossary of sewing terms#H. Considering that keep/delete opinions are about evenly split, and the merger proposed at the end remained unopposed, this seems like the most consensual outcome of this discussion. Sandstein 06:23, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deprodded with the rationale, "WP:BEFORE reveals multiple sources", which indeed the BEFORE did reveal several sources. However, none of them were in-depth enough to show notability. Keep Give me a break. The subject is covered in multiple reliable independent verifiable published sources. It's a kind of tape. It is real. It exists everywhere. Weak keep - I added some more info. Unlike most common dictionary definitions which rightly should be deleted, you don't have any idea what this is from the name, so having the article is helpful if bringing knowledge to people is our goal. Comment I don't think the article is just a WP:DICDEF right now. The article contains multiple uses for header tape which go beyond defining the word. Additionally, even if the content is just a longer dictionary definition, the subject passes WP:GNG with its sources. Article content does not determine notability. Merge per above. While I think there’s enough information to prevent it from just being a simple dictionary definition, there’s not going to be a way for the information to be expanded begone a stub, and the glossary seems like a perfect home for it.
