Numbers

could someone please redo the numbers? lakh and crore are not English system numbers. InfernoXV (talk) 15:51, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

can you please point out an instance? Outlander07 15:55, 25 May 2020 (UTC)

Crores are mentioned in the section devoted to the temple records. Lakhs and crores are part of Indian English, and as such may cause culture shock to passing Americans. NRPanikker (talk) 01:24, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone explain why a Forbes article claims that the treasure is 1 trillion dollar? Seems like a mistranslation of 1 trillion rupees ( 1 lakh crore). I have gone through 3000 year economic history of India. And nowhere India had $ 1 trillion dollar economy before 19th century. ChandlerMinh (talk) 20:20, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Picture of Door

Is there really no authentic picture of the Kallara B door? A frequently circulated image on google shows a door located in a courtyard or some kind of large open space and this door bears chinese dragons and frech fleur-de-lys symbols. The origin of this picture might be worth including in the article, so as to separate fact from fiction.
