To dear Administrators: I would like to Upload an image, but the system is getting me out of this procedure. Am I a confirmed user or not? Please inform me about --ΑΝώΔυΝος (talk) 11:35, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're not yet confirmed; but don't worry, because you'll only have to wait for three days. As far as mayors: some mayors are allowed, but it's like any other job: most mayors don't pass our notability standards, so simply being a mayor isn't enough to have an article. If you think that this mayor qualifies for an article, you can write it in a subpage of your userspace. Simply go to User:ΑΝώΔυΝος/Athanasios Papadopoulos and write your article there; when you believe that the article is finished, you can copy it to Athanasios Papadopoulos and recreate the article. By the way, it doesn't help to leave a help notice at your talk page; people don't generally look at your talk page unless they have a reason to — many thousands of people have Wikipedia accounts, so we can't look at all of their talk pages. If you want quicker help in the future, you can post a request at the help desk, or you can write a request for help here and add the text {{helpme}} above it; this will let us know that you want help. Happy editing! Nyttend (talk) 13:48, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ronaldo

{{helpme}} Trying to put an image in C. Ronaldo's article, I've just done a great mistake. Please bring back the foto concerning his career in Man. Utd

I would like my work to remain too. Sorry for the mess, new in Wikipedia, all the best--ΑΝώΔυΝος (talk) 04:56, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, somebody already restored the photo and removed your image. I thought that drawing isn't appropriate for such article (as did the editor who undid your edit), but looking at our guideline about images, your image may be appropriate. I think you should discuss this on the talkpage of that article. Svick (talk) 07:43, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Drawings

Your drawing at Giorgos Zampetas is good - presuming that is what he looks like .. and the article has no other picture.

File:Vas. Papageorgopoulos.jpg is dubious quality, even for an article with no other pictures.

File:Mantela.jpg does not belong on Jacob Zuma's page - which has plenty of good pictures of him.

Mosmof (talk) 04:42, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article George Pol Papadakis has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. noq (talk) 11:06, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Edward Andrew Hartzo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. ASCII-002 I NotifyOnline 14:25, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Jimmy Corinis moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Jimmy Corinis, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Notice

The article George Pol Papadakis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability. Orphaned for more than 10 years.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
