Hi from Mamobo in Ireland

Hi Antiqueight,

I hope you are well,

I am getting to know the wiki community and I recently came accross you! I am the founder of an Irish social enterprise that raises underrepresented voices through media. www.gormmedia.com (as an Irish speaker you may get the name hehe). I would love to connect with you and see opportunities for collaboration.

Best wishes, Mamobo Mamobo O (talk) 19:05, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delighted to meet you Mamobo O! - And totally interested in underrepresented voices especially in Ireland. I'm sure you are also aware of We Are Irish too? You should reach out to the Wikimedia Community Ireland too for a group with an inclusive perspective and objective, if you haven't already. You can find us on Mastondon.ie and facebook and twitter(I used to be there but not anymore) for community building.
I look forward to chatting and seeing how you are getting on.
PS love the name ☕ Antiqueight chatter 09:42, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Women in Red 8th Anniversary

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap!
