Welcome!

Hello, Timothyjmartin, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Timothyjmartin/sandbox/Le Naturaliste, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. A tag has been placed on User:Timothyjmartin/sandbox/Le Naturaliste requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.timothymartin.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/LE-NATURALISTE-Artaujourdhui-cmp.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Additional note

If you are Mr. Martin, you may want to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies on donating copyrighted materials and editing articles about yourself before continuing. Thank you.

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Team,

I appreciate your attention to my previous appeal, and I understand the gravity of the issue that led to my account being blocked. The reason cited for the block was "Clearly not here to build an encyclopedia: just self-promo."
Upon careful reflection and a deeper understanding of Wikipedia's policies, I now recognize the error in my approach. I understand that Wikipedia is a platform dedicated to building a comprehensive and unbiased encyclopedia, and that contributions should be made with the primary goal of providing valuable information to the public, rather than for self-promotion or personal gain.
I am writing to emphasize my commitment to adhering to Wikipedia's principles and guidelines moving forward. I fully acknowledge that my previous actions were not in line with these principles, and I sincerely apologize for any disruption caused. I have learned the importance of putting the needs of the Wikipedia community and the integrity of the encyclopedia above personal interests.
In the future, I pledge to contribute in a manner that upholds Wikipedia's values and aligns with the encyclopedia's mission. My focus will be on providing accurate, well-researched, and impartial content that benefits the wider readership. I will refrain from any actions that could be perceived as self-promotion and ensure that my edits contribute to the advancement of knowledge and understanding on Wikipedia.
I kindly request your reconsideration of my appeal. I am eager to make amends and contribute positively to Wikipedia's collective efforts in building a reliable and comprehensive encyclopedia.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response. Timothyjmartin (talk) 04:23, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am summarily declining this request because it was clearly written by an AI. This wouldn't work to get the AI unblocked anyway- but since it is you who is blocked, not an AI, we want to hear from you. Please write a request in your own words. 331dot (talk) 08:41, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Team, Thank You for your prompt response. I am writing regarding my recent account block. The reason for my blocking was "Clearly not here to build an encyclopedia: just self-promo.". Now I have read the Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, specifically in the aspect of self-promotion. I have completely rephrased my content and removed those were indicating self promotion I sincerely apologize and will never repeat that mistake. I request you to please unblock my account so I can contribute an accurate, well-researched, and impartial content Thank You for considering my response.

Decline reason:

Simply rephrasing your content won't be enough. Yamla (talk) 12:04, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Team, I am writing to follow up on my recent unblock appeal made on Sep 18th. I have added the reason and again apologizing on the same. I kindly request you to please have a look on my previous appeal and if possible, share an update on the same. Your guidance and feedback are highly valued. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank You.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline. You already have an open unblock request. Adding a second simultaneous unblock request in the middle (?!?) of the page is abusive. Yamla (talk) 09:55, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Wikipedia Team, Thank You for your response. I would like to appeal blocking request again regarding my recent account block on 14th Sep 2023.
