Me

My full name is Capsicum annuum, but that's annoying to spell. You can call me whatever you want as long as it isn't mean, but a preferred nickname is Capsi.

Mistake tracking

The purpose of this is 1. to spot any patterns in my mistakes and 2. to contribute to a healthy environment in which it is accepted that everyone makes mistakes every now and then. The above notice is genuine; if I meaningfully mess up, please feel free to add an entry here.

Disclosures

I have received compensation from Carnegie Mellon University for my participation in pilot testing for this research project, specifically the edit quality campaign. The edits related to this compensation were only edit evaluations (edit damage and edit intent) and discussion thereof for research purposes within the scope of Wikibench. No edits outside of the project space relate to this compensation.

I have never edited for pay outside of this research project, and I don't intend to edit for pay in the foreseeable future.

If someone claims to be me, offering any kind of paid editing services, they are scamming you.

As part of doing something else I noticed that the semi-protection edit request backlog went from like 40 earlier today down to 10, and after some digging I see you went ham! Let this be a show of appreciation for you doing that, as I personally know some of the ones you addressed could be considered tedious by a lot of editors here. Might I introduce you to the edit request tool? If you decide to do edit requests for the foreseeable future it should make your life a bajillion times easier. Good work, and happy editing! —Sirdog (talk) 07:56, 12 November 2022 (UTC)

On 17 August 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Angela Merkel, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that former German chancellor Angela Merkel's grandfather likely fought against Germany in World War I? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Angela Merkel. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Angela Merkel), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
