Welcome to Quality Article Improvement

approved cabal for improvement

Several Wikipedians have formed in 2012 this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving the quality of Wikipedia's Quality Articles, namely Good Articles (GA) and Featured articles (FA). This page and its subpages contain suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project and inquire on the talk page.

Goals[edit]

Scope[edit]

Contributors[edit]

The QAI people haven't commented here simply because they're part of QAI; they're part of QAI because they share some of the same ideas and values - one of them being that infoboxes are integral to the encyclopaedia.

Please feel free to add yourself here, and to indicate any areas of particular interest. Members may add the category Category:WikiProject Quality articles to their user page. For something like a userbox, try the {{User QAIbox}} and be creative, - you do it yourself.

  19. SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  01:28, 20 November 2015 (UTC) Yeah, I spend much more time on WP improving existing articles that creating new ones. We need better articles more than we need yet another article about some minor actor, or regionally quasi-famous band, or disputed subspecies of microbe. Most of the important articles already exist, but many of them are crap, and many that reach GA or FA don't stay there but become crappy again over time.

  25. Finnusertop (talk · contribs) We say that "the typical profile for an article's development" is steadfast progress on a one-way street to FA status. FAs are "considered complete", and one would expect them to stay that way. Yet, the reality is that regress of FAs is not uncommon. I want to help WP—if not move forward—prevent it from moving backwards. 21:39, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
