Anna Netrobko is featured on classical violinist Joshua Bell's recent release, Voice of the Violin. This was released in 2006.

This information should be added to the article. More information would be appropriate.

I don't believe that she is performing with Villon at the Metropolitan Opera in Romeo and Julliette. I think he cancelled and several other singers are filling in. This should be corrected in the last paragraph.71.249.104.20 14:21, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Song to the Moon

Don't see any mention of her music video of Song to the Moon from Rusalka with Vienna Philharmonic released in 2002. --Mccainre (talk) 17:58, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Met Lucia in 2009?

The Met has Damrau doing Lucia in October of 2008 but then has Netrebko doing four shows of Lucia in Jan/Feb of 2009.link Is that up to date? DavidRF (talk) 00:33, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It must relate grate our American friends that AN has chosen to live in Vienna and not in Miami or NYC. (I mean the USA, so I apologise to the 650-million-odd Americans who aren't in the good old USA, beacon of world peace and humanitarianism.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.141.178.206 (talk) 12:53, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

La Boheme in Japan

Netrebko refused to go to Japan with the Met tour in June, 2011, apparently for fear of radiation. She was replaced by Barbara Frittoli as Mimi. This tour was one of the few foreign arts companies that did not cancel after the Fukushima Daiichi disaster. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/01/arts/music/star-of-mets-japan-tour-drops-out.html?_r=1&sq=netrebko&st=cse&adxnnl=1&scp=2&adxnnlx=1307671239-QF+kO5foViICK19YwtdWSg — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.162.114.121 (talk) 02:12, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

quotation

In the two presentation line there is writeen "She has been nicknamed "La Bellissima" by fans." with no reference. I personally never heard about this thing and I am very involved in opera gossip. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.221.172.43 (talk) 15:51, 13 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This factoid was added to the article in March 2011. Searching the web for "netrebko bellissima" yields this article, which points to the origin of the moniker. It has apparently been proposed by a fan site and they hope that it catches on – but it's not Wikipedia's job to promote nicknames that are not established. Therefore I have removed the sentence pending a citation. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 20:40, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Donation

Support to Putin's regime and Donbass terrorists ?

How comes that nothing is being said about the political support Netrebko is giving to Putin's regime and Donbass terrorists ? 86.74.119.32 (talk) 08:36, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Add some references from reliable sources and add it in, but if you dont have any rs to verify the claim unfortunately you can't add it in.Eruditess (talk) 19:16, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Layout changes

I made a few changes to the layout of this article, mainly separating her early life from her early career in Russia. SpiritedMichelle (talk) 14:34, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Metropolitan seasons first-night star

The article mentions her being the star of three successive season openers at the New York Met in 2011-13, but she has also been given the same prominence on the Met's "Live in HD" series to movie theatres around the world. Since Anna Bolena in 2011, she has been the opening-night star of every season - with the exception of Norma in October 2017, which she had been meant to sing, but withdrew from due to the change in her voice (this bowing-out is mentioned in the article). This is an outstanding example of her stature as a singer and opera star.

Someone should also check whether she has been the in-house first-night star of the Met during any seasons after 2013; I suspect that she has. :) 195.67.149.160 (talk) 08:44, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
