Algerian War

[edit]

The article is in a horrible stub-like shape and while the article heaps generalized praise on him from the perspective of French nationalism, what he is most notable for, his service in the Algerian War in a reasonably high-level position, is only mentioned with a short sentence with no details. The Algerian War was a highly brutal and controversial war where the French committed numerous war crimes, and for someone who served in his position we would expect the article to elaborate somewhat on his actual role during that war. --Tataral (talk) 13:51, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia:Wikipedia is a work in progress. If you can find reliable third-party sources to expand his role in the Algerian War, please do so. However, please try to be neutral and only relay facts no matter what your opinion of that war might be. Thank you.Zigzig20s (talk) 22:32, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
