Comment

[edit]

I don't see how this article is written like an advertisement. It is unbiased and accurately describes the company's history and importance. It also cites 3 seperate references other than the company's website

Endorsements

[edit]

There were no source for any of the content in the "Notable endorsing artists" section, much less for who no longer is endorsing Ayotte Drums. I couldn't find any reliable sources confirming that content when I looked, either. Thus I removed the section. Since Wikipedia content must be verifiable, it shouldn't be added back unless there's a reliable source for it. Huon (talk) 17:48, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The section was added back in without any sources some time later in 2018. I've removed it again as part of a series of de-puffification edits. Wham2001 (talk) 11:52, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this defunct drum maker not being declared as such?

[edit]

Question moved to end of talk where it is more likely to be seen.

Have you a WP:Reliable source saying that the company is defunct? They still have a live website. Dbfirs 07:13, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)@Brotherhud217: Because no reliable source has said that it is defunct. Wikipedia is written as a summary of what reliable sources have published. We don't include personal knowledge of the editors, because we have no way of checking that. This policy explains how and why Wikipedia works this way; please give it a read. If you have a reliable source that says that Ayotte Drums has ceased trading please insert that into the article along with a reference. I couldn't find such a source, but I didn't look very hard. Best wishes, Wham2001 (talk) 07:23, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm reverting the repeated addition of this unreferenced claim. The website is still live. Dbfirs 20:24, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thank-you @Dbfirs: – for the avoidance of doubt I agree that's the right thing to do. Wham2001 (talk) 20:32, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
