Current controversy / edit warring

[edit]

There are a number of editors involved in an WP:EDITWAR over a claim sourced to a newspaper. There has been no discussion here, just reverts back and forth. This is not how Wikipedia is supposed to work! Per WP:BRD, editors make a change, and then if it is reverted it is discussed on the talk page, not reverted again.

I have notified the Biographies of Living Persons Noticeboard of this issue here. Please now begin the conversation! Mechanical digger (talk) 10:38, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I wasn't aware that I needed to explain why I was restoring verifiable, relevant, well-sourced content that is repeatedly being blanked by anonymous users. I can add more sources if you'd like. Arbor832466 (talk) 14:49, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Arbor, given that one editor removed the content with the summary Once again deleted inaccurate Michigan messenger please quit citing it. Its filled with several errors for example Benishek only has two sons not three. This makes wiki look bad it would help to have additional verification from WP:Reliable sources. Sorry about the talk page message, there were sirens blaring and blue lights flashing when I came across the page. Thanks, Mechanical digger (talk) 15:15, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
All I was doing was reverting stuff like this which looks like vandalism/BLP issues to me. It even tripped the edit filter. WP:3RR states that reverting vandalism does not count as edit warring. Usb10 Connected? 01:01, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Quality

Is this article really just a start class?--Iady391 | Talk to me here 19:42, 30 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. I'd say it's at least C-class and would endorse an upgrade in its assessment. Champaign Supernova (talk) 18:52, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Champaign Supernova: How do we go about endorsing an upgrading in its assessment? Iady391 | Talk to me here 21:47, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think that one of us can just do it ourselves--I'm pretty sure anyone can change an article's assessment unless you're attempting to change it to a good or featured article status. I will make the change. Champaign Supernova (talk) 18:09, 1 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Newsroom?

[edit]

His election was a significant plot point in the season 2 episode 8 of The Newsroom. Should we mention that in the article? Centerone (talk) 23:26, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
