Sister?

[edit]

He moved to LA in 2006 because his younger sister was offered a part in a film yet said sister is only 6 years old now in 2013? She must be 9 at least?

Education

[edit]

The personal life section makes it sound like the program sponsors are being generous by providing a tutor. In fact, they're required to do so by law. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.128.160.7 (talk) 10:27, 6 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Walter White Jr's Disability

[edit]

I distinctly remember one of the characters, maybe Hank?, saying he had a football injury. You know, rather than cerebral palsy. Moreover, I don't recall CP ever being mentioned in the series's dialogue. VentrueJusticar (talk) 06:38, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If we're remembering the same scene here, the football injury is a lie Hank tells a hooker to make Walt Jr. seem more manly and sporty. HughMorris15 (talk) 17:53, 21 March 2017 (UTC) HughMorris15 (talk) 17:53, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I believe it was. Gus mention it. When pretending to meet for the first time in front people not in the know. Justin being honest (talk) 16:30, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Was extremely disappointed learning RJ was…..

[edit]

I feel terrible saying this but I always thought that the goal of every serious Actor was to go out of there comfort zone. Transform into any other type of person then them selves and make an audience believe. The better the deception the stronger the actors performance. So when the part calls for a young man with the same exact disability as role calls for. Again RJ seems like a solid Dude and I feel for the struggle he must have endured. I mean if I’m casting for a film about a famous person u don’t want the actual person playing the role right. A little on the nose😬 Justin being honest (talk) 16:27, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I doubt that the role was written for someone with CP. It’s more likely that it was supposed to be just an average kid and the casting director and producers saw an opportunity to present a unique twist on the character by casting RJ. There are few opportunities for actors that don’t fit the standard mold, so we shouldn’t begrudge them roles, whether they “fit” or not. I think RJ did an outstanding job, as did ALL of the cast. Neither RJ nor Bryan Cranston were exactly typecast for their roles, but both helped to elevate the series well above the run of the mill dramas we so often see! 52.144.111.199 (talk) 04:27, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
