6th year?
[edit]@Rikster2: West was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA. I don't see anywhere he's not going to take advantage of that. I think he's still active. — X96lee15 (talk) 15:47, 16 June 2016 (UTC)
- OK, Thanks. You should have undone my edit. I am happy to re-add the info but I couldn't undo my edit without also undoing your later valid edit as well. Rikster2 (talk) 17:08, 16 June 2016 (UTC)
- I wasn't sure if there was new info saying he wasn't coming back. Cool, we're set. — X96lee15 (talk) 17:10, 16 June 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, we're set. Sorry I created the issue in the first place. Rikster2 (talk) 18:04, 16 June 2016 (UTC)

7th year?
[edit]No way. I can't believe it. But check out this article from March 17, 2017:
- "Knee injuries each of the past two seasons sidelined West, who is targeting a return to action next winter."
This can't mean NCAA action, right? I need to get to the bottom of this. — X96lee15 (talk) 22:04, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
- Wow, looks like they're going to try: "• rehabilitation process, in a best case scenario, could result in him being cleared to play late February or early March, so NSU will pursue a waiver for a medical redshirt season (a seventh-year waiver) hoping for his return in 2017-18." — X96lee15 (talk) 22:08, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
