Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Seigo Yamaguchi had a profound influence on aikido in Japan, the United States, and France. Directly and through the shihan he taught, aikido as it is practiced now in the United States, Japan, and Europe shows his touch (for example, it is clear that Endo-shihan and Tissier-shihan are giants in the aikido world and he was an important influence on both of them technically)--See French Page as well as Seishiro Endo and Christian Tissier-- Rufe (talk) 23:59, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
